Fraud Mayweather?

The problem with mayweather is he thinks hes worth more than he is.You can be a great fighter and still not make as much as lesser fighters because you have to appeal to the main stream to get big dollars.Your average fight fan doesnt really like mayweather and half of the hardcore fans dislike him as well.The reason most people watch him is for the same reason people always watched prince and thats the hope that he gets smashed.Arum has offered 8 mill plus upside if the fight sells and after oscar said he wasnt going to fight this year.I think its a easy choice if mayweather really thought it would be a walk in the park.I understand him wanting to see if oscar would fight him first cause that would be a killer pay day but thats done and its time to step up and take the 8 mill.Mayweathers fans laugh at the fight and say Margarito isnt that great and i say hell no hes not that great but i think he is made to give mayweather problems.For people to say a welterweight that big who's a pressure fighter and a volume puncher with a good punch has no chance against a great small quick fighter who is past his best weight is silly.You dont have to be better than the guy your fighting to beat him you just gotta have the style to get it done.I would make mayweather the fav to win but people need to stop saying that theres no chance this would be competitive.

1) Why does it matter WHY people watch him....as long as people watch? Does the $50 from someone who hates him spend differently than the $50 from someone who is a fan?

2) Check the nums. Mayweather did 350K buys with Gatti. Everybody said that was Gatti driving the PPV. OK, fine. Mayweather then went and fought Zab and did almost 400K buys. IN A FIGHT WHERE ZAB TRIED TO TANK THE PROMOTION. Judah did ZERO to drive the promotion because he wasn't getting paid on the PPVs and PBF was. The reality is that Mayweather has driven strong PPV buys.

3) Arum claims he is "offering" Mayweather $8 million to fight Maggie. Question: If Mayweather isn't a draw, why did he only offer Winky four mil? Is Arum a businessman, or just trying to contribute towards Floyd's ***elry fund?

5) Where is the $8 million coming from? Margarito's fans? I think not. He has never had a successful PPV or a good gate. He doesn't have a paying audience. The supposed EIGHT MIL is coming from PBF's paying fans. Margarito had a fight earlier this year. He sold less than 70K PPV buys and didn't sell out a small room at the Aladdin.

I didnt say mayweather wasnt a draw i said he thinks hes worth more than he is.Mayweather thinks at this stage he should be close to the pay days oscar used to get.The only reason mayweather could get 8 mill for margarito is that marg would take much smaller pay day than floyd.I would bet less than 2 mill would go to tony.If he wants more than that it would be hard cause he isnt a huge draw like tito or dlh.To get more than 8 mill it would have to be against ssm or hatton and those two would want 6 to 8 mill.Some one would have to put around 20 mill on the table for that and i dont know who would take that risk knowing floyds not a huge ppv draw.

dont get fooled brah......vargas is the reason his fight with sugar shane reached 400,000 buys....im guessing a PBF-SSM fight might hit 350,000 but no way it reaches 400,000....

PBF -Zab did almost 400K.

1) PBF is a bigger name NOW, than he was then.

2) Shane has a bigger following than Zab, is a more liked and respected fighter and would fully participate in the promotion.

3) Shane has the powerful GBP firm behind him and Oscar would be fully supportive of the promotion of the fight.

All of this indicates that PBF-SSM would be BIGGER than PBF-Zab.

Arum has pretty much put floyd in a bad position by offering him that 8 mill to fight toney.Floyd cant fight a push over on hbo for 2 mill and then get a big pay day against dlh now.Floyd said toney would be a easy fight and now he has to take on a big name for more than 8 or take the 8 mill for toney.If he dodges toney for a easy fight on hbo then he will be proven a lier and a coward.I dont see why he is saying toneys not a draw when 8 mill would be his if the fight sells or not.I really dont think floyd cares if arum loses money on it or not as long as he gets his cash.

If there's any chance of the fight happening in the fall, it will be Margarito fighting on Floyd's Nov. date.

The chances of that happening are slim, because he can take an easier fight for a bigger pay day on his own date.
