What's optimistic? Even PPV bombs like Ward-Kovalev and GGG-Lemieux did like 150K. This was way bigger than those where you couldn't find a bar in major cities even showing the fights.

This felt 500kish, just judging by experience with UFC PPVs. That would be a major success on a first PPV for either guy..

I just couldn't justify purchasing this PPV, because the undercard fights were all ****ing jokes. Sick of buying a PPV for just a main event, when 90% of the time it's nothing to be too hyped up on.

I'm going to guess they claim 400-500k, but the real number is around 250-350k.

Fury sold that fight and he is a great self promoter. I think it did about 400-500k. Hopefully the rematch will be in the UK.

The question is if we only get the numbers from Showtime or if we get real numbers from an independant source.

Publicly traded firm can’t lie that blatantly. They’ll just say nothing at lie.

Exactly, Haymon had to take care of yet another fee for a single night of boxing. Maybe you thought that Showtime gave him a discount. ‘Tis all about that Christmas spirit after all.

Did you say Haymon had to take care of another fee?

Putting it in perspective vs Canelo/GGG:

Jaime Munguia, $250,000; Brandon Cook, $30,000; David Lemieux, $200,000; Gary "Spike" O'Sullivan, $400,000; Roman Gonzalez, $200,000; Moises Fuentes, $35,000.

Stevenson was paid more than all those guys put together. Hurd was paid around the same as all those guys put together.
It's just funny hearing somebody call the undercard stacked now when before the fight, all I heard was people ****ting on it.

networks cant lie about numbers, promoters often do...

Espinoza said first round of numbers should be coming in end of today. I doubt SHO is going to announce it, but it will start getting leaked out. If it does really good numbers, they will give the official number in a few weeks.
