Also a draw isn't a terrible decision considering the knock downs. I've seen a lot worse than this. Also the fight was in the US so Fury knew going in the possibility of it happening. I don't think it's as bad as everyone is making it out to be. You can pick a couple different fighters who've been given sketchy decisions Canelo (Lara), Danny Garcia (Peterson), Pacquiao (JMM), Stevenson (Jack), DeGale (Jack), Mayweather (Castillo) etc etc.. The major story here is how Fury was able to overcome drugs, depression and a two year layoff and take on one of the most dangerous fighters in the HW division.

      Cheating is not cool man.
Curious as to how you determined one was pre meditated and one was unintentional.

Boxing is boxing and if the ref wasn't able to determine if fury was good to go after asking him if he's OK and asking for his gloves, then stop the fight. If, not let them fight. Don't send him for a stroll.
It lasted about 3-5 seconds for ffs. Guess that’s a super long time if you’re seriously hurt lol
His legs reflexes mind were all still there. Would you have been happier had he waived it off after Fury got up with much energy??? That would’ve been a worse sight to see imo.

guess you've never boxed if you don't think 5 seconds can make a world of difference when it comes to recovering. I would have preferred he let them fight after touching his gloves and asking him if he's ok. Not send him for a walk. Not sure what's so tough to understand.

I would advise to watch the fight again, and ignore all the unwarranted showing off Fury was doing. It was a good close fight.
Agreed. I thought Fury won but just because a person showboats a lot that's not what wins you points in the fight; scoring 3 out of the 10 non-knockdown rounds in Wilder's favor is not a stretch and I don't think the draw was out of the realm of possibility.

It takes a true champ to pick yourself off canvas, and then to have the better of round once you get up. It doesn't take a champ to knock someone down like wilder did. Cunningham knocked fury down! So what?
Too much is made of wilder knock downs. From fury looked dead comments, through to long c ount?
So what? Fury got up as if it was nothing.
2 knock downs don't make up for being outbo xed for 9 rounds.xxx
It sets a dangerous precedent whereby kids taking up sport don't feel the need to learn to box. Just learn to hit hard as it's ok to be outboxed for 9 rounds, judges don't care about that. All you need is a knockdown or two to make up for it?

Yea it was a terrible decision for the ref to give this fool a long count. Now he’s gonna keep talking.

Oh so it’s based on what you preferred now. Ref can override whatever’s going on in the ring. Hell they can even make nut shots legal and call it KO. Ref saw how good the KD was and made sure if it’s the right thing to let the fight continue. Had fury been on stanky legs, in those 3-5 seconds it would have been ruled out a TKO. What’s so hard to understand about that?
Their job is to protect the fighters in the first place. Had it been better if the fight was immediately stopped even if Fury was completely okay? NO.
Had it been better if someone was hospitalized because ref didn’t make sure they’re fit to continue? NO.
That was a hell of a KD and we’re all surprised Fury even went up.

And please do tell us more about recovering from wilder’s power punch.

3-year absence bite back at Tyson Fury who lost 10% of focus/concentration that a sharpened great combatant would have if he is regularly fighting in the arena. I think Wilder should rematch him as soon as possible--while he still had the advantage of giving Fury a traumatic experience of almost knocking him out cold. If team wilder give this man enough time, Fury will soon be back in his old untouchable groove and Wilder's slim opening chance will close out really fast.

So you would say the same about Trout vs Canleo, Ward vs Kov I, Jacobs vs GGG?
