First off kudos to both guys for fighting their hearts off . Both showed their will to win yet people on this board still criticize them especially wilder. I gave wilder rds 1,2,4,9amd 12 so I had it a draw. The commentators especially pauiie and Mauro were saying about how wilder missed a lot and loaded up . They talked more about wilder missing rather them pointing out what fury was doing . Then they said he needs a couple of knockdowns to get into the fight . Wilder gets the knockdown then they cry robbery after saying wilder needed those knockdown. I could tell Al Bernstein didn’t agree with them as much. Not that it matters but espn and Dan Rafel had 115-112 wilder .

They didn't cheat, the New York athletic commission has been taking extra precaution since that Colon incident and motioned for the ref so the doc could look at Wilder before the round started.

Fury has been handling this with straight class and is winning over even more fans.

I think he knew he couldn’t win on points. I think it’s obvious fighting Haymon guys you can’t just dominate and win on points. Scores are filled out beforehand.

I don’t think anyone looked angry except Ben Davison. Maybe Tyson was genuinely trying to calm the thousands of travellers in the crowd.

I don’t think Deontay wants an immediate rematch and I wouldn’t be surprised if he went for the AJ payday

Fury did enough to win the fight I thought. But man if he could have stayed on his feet in the last round this would be a whole different topic! I don't think he should fight Wilder again I think he needs to try and make that fight with AJ. Maybe seeing Wilder drop Fury twice will give AJ the confidence to go ahead and make the fight happen.

The British judge is as disgraceful as Alejandro Rochin. These guys were bought. With people like that involved in boxing the future of our sport is threatened

It’s not uncommon for a referee to want to check a fighter over after they’ve been down before letting them continue. They often give them a command too, like raise your gloves or, in Fury’s case, walk to the corner, to check they can obey a simple command. It’s part of welfare for the fighter’s safety and it inevitably adds a few seconds on to a fighter’s recovery but it’s nothing new and it happens all the time. Fury beat the count and that’s all that matters. But suddenly it becomes an issue or some kind of conspiracy when Wilder fails to KO someone. And on the same night Stevenson is taken into intensive care.
I've seen refs say give me your gloves or say walk to me. I've never seen one say walk over there to the corner and walk back. That was excessive. It's not a conspiracy as I don't think it was deliberate, but he definitely got more time than what's the norm. What does Stevenson have to do with this? Boxing is boxing and if the ref wasn't able to determine if fury was good to go after asking him if he's OK and asking for his gloves, then stop the fight. If, not let them fight. Don't send him for a stroll.

I understand, some fans are delirious for their fighter. This is a prime case, this was a close fight. To think that Fury some how won every round except for the 9th and 12th is crazy. I would advise to watch the fight again, and ignore all the unwarranted showing off Fury was doing. It was a good close fight.
