People often say that Ortiz was old when Deontay fought him but no one ever mentions that Wladimir was old when Fury fought him too. Klitschko was a washed up version of himself when Tyson defeated him; Which so happened to be the best win on the "Gypsy King's resume.

If Wlad was so washed up when he fought Fury then why did AJ have to go life and death with him to get the win 2 years later after Wlad had a 2 year layoff? Also, Wlad was dominating everyone with no signs of slowing down when he fought Fury.

Johnny Tapia, Mike Tyson (even if the second half of his career is not on a par with the first).

If I remember correctly, even Roberto Duran had ballooned and was almost out of it before coming back to knock Pipino Cuevas and Davey Moore out.

And, of course, George Foreman (minus the drugs).

If Wladimir wasn't washed up then he would have finished AJ off after that sixth round knockdown but couldn't because he was too old and slow by the time. A younger version of Klitschko would have easily stopped Joshua that night. However, that version of Klitschko did not because his skills had already declined and the last to go on an aging fighter is his power.
