And in the 6+ years it's been open, it's hosted some of the biggest fights in the country and has become the #1 boxing destination on the east coast. What heavyweight fights at other US venues were drawing bigger crowds than Wilder? We get it, boxing is more popular in the UK than the US. Good for you. Doesn't change the fact that Wilder is one of the biggest draws over here.

I definitely think he is marketable, but his team have done a piss poor job marketing him. He himself had done a lot to promote his name/brand over the last 8 months, obviously helped in part by finally stepping up and fighting better competition and aligning his name with Joshua’s name. If he had someone like Don King he would be ten times famous in America than he is now.

What other fights? Well America has zero other heavyweights so how could there be any? Having the second biggest fight at Barclays where, by the way, the gate was 2million is not an achievement at all. it's actually the opposite.

When I grew up and saw Ali, we certainly cursed Don king, but we never cared about tickets, and arena size and all this garbage, we cared about the fights and the fighters,. we just didn't like when we percieved a fighter being disrespected by Cosel, or what not.
