People act like Joshua would be somebody in the US. His numbers on showtime were garbage. Boxing has become a niche sport and I'm hoping that the Fox PBC stuff helps blow it up again.

Step 1) Read the article first you clown.
Step 2) take His net worth and write it down
Step 3) read the article again because you probably wasn’t paying attention
Step 4) subtract the money from the Ortiz fight from his total net worth
Step 5) read the article again and this time check your work
Step 6) after subtracting the Ortiz money divide by the number of career fights
Step 7) remember you don’t add in the Ortiz fight so go ahead and take that one off
Step 8) pay attention and erase the Ortiz earnings jeez you don’t listen
Step 9) divide by every other fight (hint it’s 39)
Step 10) now you have the average

Yeah that’s a very rational thing to do

He just needs a big fight. Here it is.

If Wilder wins, and in spectacular fashion...problem solved. Then the Joshua train gets started, and voila! Wilder will be gloriously marketable.

            Totally agree

Wilders so Unmarketable that all he’s been able to do in a sport that has become a niche sport in the States and fighting in a division that’s been long considered dead among casuals is

Consistently have the most watched fights in the US the last 3 years

Have the best attendance at the Barclays

            Make multi millions of dollars

Oh yeah and he’s about to headline a PPV tomorrow

            What a chump

Interesting thought. Let’s say wilder does the unthinkable and loses to fury?

What happens to his marketability? What happens to his ranking?

I guess at the moment he is a solid #2 but would losing see him fall 3rd? 4th maybe behind Whyte?

Would his ppv days be completely over? (Except when fighting a British fighter)

There is something about Wilder that comes across a bit false and forced.

He doesn't have any natural charisma or presence.

Also being a total kunt and ****ty boxer doesn't help his marketing either.

Wilder is Showtime's biggest ratings draw. Wilder's last fight was the 2nd most successful fight in Barclays history.

Wilder is now the A-side of a major PPV. The first major PPV headlined by heavyweights in well over a decade.
So what? Barclays has existed only for half a decade and has only had welterweight fights primarily. It's really not an impressive stat to be the second most successful fight in such a short history.

Ps. Wilder isn't the A-side since it's a 50-50 fight Wilder will never be on PPV if it isn't against one of the brits. That's a fact.

                    I applaud your facts sir

I’m sure you will get called a name or 2 or be accused of not knowing anything about boxing very soon.

he would instantly become the most avoided fighter, that's for sure.
