I have never, EVER heard any of this. SERIOUSLY?? This is a thing???

So, I looked it up. Several articles. One I read was a 2014 Toronto Sun write up by a Steve Buffery.

Never brought up on **** charges. Sentenced to 4 years for managing **********s, assault, and threats with malice. Served 18 months.

2 schools of thought here. One is forgiveness. I get that one. I believe in it. The Book insists we forgive. He was parentless and living on the streets. He almost had no chance, and was in gang activity by the time he was 14. He has had zero incidents since that time in prison and stays out of the limelight, a private person just doing what he loves. I can get that.

But there is also repenting and redemptive efforts, and I have seen zero that says he is doing anything to make up for that past. Not found anything that he is working with organizations to get women off the streets. Nothing that he has reached out to help troubled youth with no parents that are on the same path he was. It may be there and done in private, but I can't find anything.

I think I just lost complete respect for this man. War Oleksander Govzdyk.
