How does almost getting stopped by ortiz be seen as proof of a solid chin?

      Of course not

But Ortiz has barely fought any decent opponents. Apart from Jennings, who has he stopped? a 57 year old Tony Thompson?

I'll judge a real puncher by the good opponents he stops.

Anyone can reel off knockout %'s but what does it matter? Fury has a bigger KO % than Povetkin, yet the general consensus is that Povetkin is a bigger puncher.

Just because Ortiz has stopped two dozen bums doesn't mean much until he shows he can consistently knock out good opposition. His resume is that weak that Malik Scott is probably his 3rd best opponent and he didn't put a dent in him.

Getting dropped and saved by the bell against Sconiers = ATG chin.

Apparantly his physiology has changed completely now and it doesn't count.

Ortiz hits damn hard and he hit Wilder a lot with good punches and he hurt Wilder badly but never floored him. It showed that Wilder is fairly rugged with a respectable chin. It also showed that Wilder can be hurt badly and doesn't have a great chin. Ortiz gassed out but he looked to be just a few good punches away from knocking Wilder out. Fury could win by KO if he lands enough good punches. If Fury gets Wilder hurt he can finish him off.

From all I've seen of Fury and Ortiz, Ortiz punches much harder.
Anyone can be knocked out esp if punch was not seen.
Just seems given everything, highly unlikely that Fury will KO Wilder. Far more probable the other way.

Given that Wilder has good stamina and is far more unpredictable and quicker on his feet than Vlad was, Fury's only chance is to evade and block and get a points win for counterpunching.

Possible, but if I had to bet, Wilder wins by KO, mid to late rd.
