lets be honest, any very good heavyweight should easily beat wilder, hes a puncher but hes also chinny and easy to hit, when someone beats him, it will make him look very bad
If Wilder is to win. Power > Skill

Well, yeah but not for those reasons. Glaukos and Marciano did it before Wilder. He's just the newest born to do it to whoop all the raised to do it types.Wilder was an underdog against Stiverne, Ortiz, and is an slight underdog against Fury. What do all three have in common? They were much more skilled than Wilder. If Wilder is to beat Fury, I think it will be time for us to admit that Power trumps skill in the HW division. Anybody else agree?
You have to go back to ancient times to find a skilled unbeaten HW champion.Comment

He’s definitely not chinny
I still maintain that he is a small heavyweight but he can hold a shot.
I’d be surprised if Fury could hurt himComment

I make my conclusions based on actual ring work, and studying the game, and learning from elders of the sport, not a singular outcome, or even 3.
Boxing is fascinating because one punch can change everything. I'll always take a complete fighter who has astronomical ring IQ over a guy who does more wrong than right in the ring.
Trying to compare Stiverne or Ortiz to Fury is like comparing Berto to Mayweather: sure both Berto and Mayweather are slick and can be defensively tricky depending on your skillset. Trying to then conclude that because Victor Ortiz beat a game Berto, that this means anything in a fight against Floyd would be ******ed, slap worthy. Triangle theories also don't work in boxing.Comment

I am impressed by the low weight Wilder weighed in at. At 6 ft 7 inch and 212.5 he is really a big lean very tall cruiserweight. I think Wilder trained very hard and will be fast and sharp. I think he will land the KO blows soon enough. If he does it will prove the right boxer at 212 pounds of lean muscle is plenty big enough to KO a giant heavyweight like Fury due to the speed of his punch and the body weight he turns into his straight right hand,Comment

That's exactly why wilder won't win. Because power doesn't > Skill.
All the guys you listed aren't on Fury's level, and they all gave away a size advantage to wilder. On top of ortiz being old.
This is going to be a sobering experience for wilder and his bandwagon.Comment

Wilder is the favorite over Fury and of course was the favorite over Ortiz. Where are you getting these wrong odds from? Power alone does not beat boxing skills. Wilder has skills besides raw punching power. He has hand speed and a long strong jab as well. His left jab is much superior to the left jab of Fury.Comment
