What is up with all these nationality, origin and ethnic boxing threads? It's called tribalism. It's a known fact that people tend to root for individuals, who share similar backgrounds, values and ones who closely resemble and look like them. There's nothing wrong with that. I see a lot of support for Ukranian fighters from Eastern European/Ukranian fans.

It's not right.

How come they don't root for black fighters? Or Mexican fighters? Or British fighters?

They should support boxers and choose the best style and then be a fan, not be a fan just because they're from the same country or region.
