Fine. I don't know how I got drawn into this discussion anyway. I thought this was a fun thread about Wilder's Ancestry.

Tell you what mate go to Alabama get in the ring with him after he beat the **** out of you come back to the forum and let us know if hes a country pumpkinI've been aware of the label for a while, but never knew what it meant. To us Brits, it's very strange seeing a man talk so much without making any sense. Where did Wilder pick up this way of speaking? Why does he repeat himself at random? Voodoo ebonics? Country bumpkin? A black redneck? What is this labelled as by other Americans?Comment

Believe it or not I ain't got a particular dog in this one - I'm more a fan of Wilder actually, stylistically, and I prefer him to Joshua certainly, but part of me has to be rooting for Fury as a fellow Manc and as an underdog. I'm just hoping he's got enough left to make it a fight worth remembering (for the record I got Wilder by mid rounds KO).
Have a good weekend, man. And get your ass on the Pick 'em next year. Let's see what you're made of...

Stalin was smart, he only made the pact with the ****'s,tu push the western countries against each other and they would forget about him, a very smart tactic that worked, the only problem was Germany steamrolled france without losing anything major,Stalin had counted on the fact that the war would last for a longer time then i did and that they would cripple each other army'sThe winter was a factor, sure, but you managed to imply that the millions of unprepared conscript troops and the massive mobilisation of the civilian population were not the primary reason the ****s failed to reach their objectives, as planned, before the start of winter. I know the passage of time and geographical seperation makes things seem less real, but just try to imagine 30 million deaths, man... including 12 odd million combat troops. In my world those people deserve a little respect, as do all the service men and women who died stopping the ****s... it's like you're saying their sacrifices were irrelevant cos the winter stopped the Wehrmarcht anyway.
And of course, hindsight is a wonderful thing, but the at the time of the Molotov pact the Soviets were in literally no state to fight a war and Stalin needed more time to prepare, especially in light of the fact that the British and French (which was where they turned first) were looking in no hurry to enter into a pact with the Soviets. It wasn't a matter of 'trusting' the ****s (Stalin was a paranoid egomanic and pathologically trusted people only to act in their own self interest anyway) but ******** to buy time.Comment
