I guarantee you Deontay wasn’t crying racism until he got exposure to the depth of racism in both corporate and non corporate. America.

Let me ask you. You’re so quick to shut down my perspective. I’m a son of immigrants from Jamaica. My parents grew up literally bathing in rivers and little to no electricity. Moved to nyc where they encountered systemic racism for the first time as black people. Humbled themselves and worked their ass off in the grimiest areas of NYC, tried to get their kids in better schools by lying. I’ve been the only black kid in a lm entire building. Have you?
How are you going to tell me the perspective of what it’s like to be black in America or that I live in a bu now when my entire life is literally trying to mesh in a white world? Have you tried to assimilate in a black world? If so, I wouldn’t be able to tell you anything about your struggles in it. Pay ********** the same respect and give them the benefit of the doubt. Millions of people can’t all be crying wolf can they? Can’t possibly get all the monkeys to behave and think the same without it being somewhat real, right?
Read my long earlier post about my background.

Those things that happened to me were due to not being given the same opportunity and care because we were seen as beneath others.

As i said, you have no idea who i am, what i'm about and what i've been through, what my father died for, why we had no family etc etc. All because of the what we are born into.

The difference being that i don't act at the victim and i don't point the finger at others. We live in a fair enough society in 2018 in many countries where we can make a success of things. Like i said, the hardships you personally had as a kid growing up is a worldwide thing in terms of housing and schools, as i talked about in my last post.

I'm not saying it doesn't exists, but it exists for people from many backgrounds. You're not the only one.

If one of your struggles as a kid was getting to school in a taxi in NYC, then i'd have swapped our upbringing in a heartbeat.

So what if you've been the only black in your building?
Is it an injustice? Who made the world white?
Why didn't you make it black then?

This is just the cries of people with no capital that are also uneducated. It is life.

Wisen up and stop insulting yourself.

I knew you would only see the shallow end of that. You have 15k school age poor black kids in my community. About 10% of which can afford to go to school when the bus doesn’t run. What do those kids do? This is just one barrier I used to highlight that you have no idea what you’re talking about as far as racism. I can’t tell you about the struggles of your parents and what they fought for no more than you can about mine and the people in my community.

Dude. I’m a poor kid that now is a doctor of physical therapy. Spare me. I’ve had my head in more books than you will your life 5x over

Like I said. I didn’t grow up thinking racism was an issue in America. It was once I left my community.

To say racism exists and is a problem is not to use it as an excuse to not get ahead.

Ironically, This thread is about Deontay using racism as the reason for his lack of whatever. I’m not saying it’s right or wrong but outright denying that American racism , although now covert, doesn’t exist is outrageous.

Sexism doesn’t exist either I guess.

And you’re a joke. Make it black? You realize we are in a drop of time. The world was ruled by blacks at one point and then another race, and now white. Life is cycle. America won’t always be America no more than Rome was not always Rome.

But while we are all here. Might as well fight for everything. Without that fighting spirit and calling out America on their bull****, Jim Crow lawd would still exist and women would be still trying to vote. And your gay son and daughter would stay in the closet.

And yes, it’s all related. Gay people and women also cry out for no reason then. Just get over it and don’t complain. Just keep pushing forward and keep your head down and mouth shut. That’s what everyone wants from **********.

As i said, i have never necessarily disagreed with anything you've said. I've seen struggles first hand too.

My point is about peoples mentality going forward. It seems far too many people are hung up on the past and using it as an excuse to fall back on rather than bettering themselves when they have all the facilities available to

There's not much excuse today. Do we live in a completely fair society? no. Never have and never will. That's never going to change and it doesn't just apply to race.

Kids today in most first world countries have internet, school, there's libraries available. As much knowledge as you can get to educate yourself. Most supposed "poor" kids today have Nike shoes, iPad's, iPhones and that's fine, but they would prioritise them other more beneficial things if they had to make a choice.

I think some of the ancestors of people would be laughing or embarrassed about them talking about how they're still struggling.

I think most people who spout this stuff are just repeating what they heard in the past, rather than understanding the reality of the here and now.

                  • I honestly think. From my own BLACK experience that most black people don’t use racism as a crutch.

I agreee with you, none of the racism I’ve experienced has held me back personally. But I can see how it would someone else is all I’m saying.

It’s like yea there are less hungry kids out in the world. Does that mean we should stop fighting against world hunger? Like that rationale makes no sense.

The reason why protest and resistance is huge in America is because the founding fathers designed it that way. Fight for a more perfect union. No matter how far in “civilization” we’ve come.

Deontay is free to call out and point fingers if he wants but that’s not stopping him from being champ.

Can we not do both at the same time? Be appreciative but not content?

Actually my old school has been demolished now and was closed down because it failed all the required inspections. We even had do go through metal detectors every day to be searched for weapons because it was that bad. No teacher wanted to work there, they had panic alarms for teachers in the class room.

The school was terrible. The kids only acted the way they did because the school was that bad to begin with and had no intentions or means of educating kids properly

What's your point? ****ty schools exist everywhere.

If that's your idea of the struggle, then i think you're doing just fine.

The thing is, i've had it very, very rough, more than most can imagine but i don't talk about it or use it as an excuse to justify anything. It is what it is. I live in the present and for the future. You're talking to me like i've never experienced rough times and true struggles when you have no idea who i am and what i'm about. I just don't have a victim mentality.

Here's one example for you that i'd never bring up in any other situation. When i was 11 years old, i was made homeless with my two sisters. We slept anywhere we could until the authorities put us into some hostel that was used by junkies, **********s and criminals. Didn't even put us into proper care. I was 11 years old and sleeping on mine and my sisters shoes so they didn't get stolen while we slept. I'd go to the local beach and parks and steal food from the peoples bags while they played in the water, just so my sisters didn't starve.

Have you ever been without parents, taking care of your siblings when you're 11 because nobody give a **** enough to give kids the proper facilities needed and just threw you to the street? That was systematic.

I don't blame anyone for that today though. I'm not a victim, that's just how my life was. Me and my sisters all have good careers today because of our mentality.
You heard it here first folks, racism doesn't exist because this f**ktard didn't have parents at 11, .

How the f**k can there be systematic racial oppression in whatever s**thole in Europe you're from when there is probably only one race?

Systematic racial oppression is possible in the United States because there are minority races.
