That question is a bit too much for someone like Wilder to explain.... lol that’s why he just shouted and ran. This is his first major event and you can see all this is new to him. I don’t think Fury got to him, I think the whole event got to him. Definitely, Wilder looks rattled. At the early press conferences, he was acting as if he really wanted Fury to like him (which Fury noticed) and then was shook up because Fury's being mean.

Now Wilder's ego is hurt, lol. Fury's needling the guy incessantly in areas about which the guy is insecure. Same thing he did with Wlad.

Bellew & Co made the great error of trying to sell the "Usyk can't punch, and I've got one-shot stopping power!" angle (lolz). So Usyk was probably sitting there, thinking: "Yeah, I'm knocking him out, lolz".

There's a chance Wilder & Co are making the same mistake now.

I think Wilder would have handle that exchange better if he was articulate, what he actually said about 400 years isn't false and i think he said that to counter Tyson Fury's comments regards to what he and his "People" had gone through for 100 of years.
