I’ve never been anywhere in the South but I’m sure there’s that are awesome, friendly and great places to live /visit for all people
But Alabama is also a region that still basically has segregated schools in certain areas , Has a history of deep rooted racism throughout the whole system and was at the forefront of the civil rights movement
It doesn’t matter if Deontay was living in the ****** or not , Hes black so he and his family
probably dealt with their fair amount of sh.itComment

I wouldn’t doubt anything you wrote , And I don’t know your race or whatnot and how that could influence your experiences

If you went there you'd understand. There's less racism these places than in the west or east, I can tell you that.
Yes I was part of a Morgan Freeman movie in school called promnight mississippi. So I know. but people in Mississippi were more disgusted than the outside world, because they have fought so hard to get rid of this image.Comment

I do wonder if there is a place on the planet where racial **** is more prevalent than the USA? I mean its far from being the only country in the world with racially diverse population...
So what about that fight eh?Last edited by Banderivets; 11-29-2018, 07:54 AM.Comment

Call it whatever you want to over the internet where you say just know you wouldn’t say that to his face. He said nothing about slavery and even if he did so what it’s the truth. The only people pulling the race card are the people who feel guilty. Funny how you have two different interpretations for Fury and Wilder even though they said the same thing.
If you want to talk about persecution then the gypsies "win" Wilder's race game. The gypsies were enslaved in medieval Europe in the 13th and 14th centuries..... that's 700 years ago btw.... and still face persecution, racism and exclusion to this day.
Fury wins the slavery, racism competition Wilder brings up all the time..... but he wasn't talking in that context.Comment

Exactly, and a quick look into gypsies would find they were enslaved in medieval Europe 700 years ago and have been persecuted and suffered racism for well longer than African-Americans....Comment

I'm sure Wilder like most ********** have received racism in his life to a lesser or minor degree. But he has a victim's mentality, that's certainly not rooted in Alabama.

Stating we’ve been fighting for 400 years isn’t playing the victim . It’s true
He’s Just probably aware of the history ,
You’re right racism exists everywhere throughout the States and throughout the World. For whatever reason when 1 group is a majority they find comfort in blaming the minority’s for their problems. It’s just the way human beings are for some reason l. Alabama isn’t alone and definitely not the worst place when it comes to this
Like I said I’m sure there’s great parts of the deep South that welcome people with open arms of all races but it’d be disingenuous to suggest that even today Alabama doesn’t have deep racial issues throughout the system.
I can’t really say to what extent but race definitely plays a role in people’s
Lives down thereComment
