His boxing ability is on par with any of them tho.
The path he is choosing isn't much different than Beterbiev, another guy who got to the pro game late. That's the point. You aren't getting built up fights when you are 25 or 26 years old when you turn professional. What other option does Bivol have?

Well they could have gone the wilder route and been just getting top level comp at 32-33.

Wilder had how many amateur fights compared to Bivol? Wilder was FAR rawer than Bivol who already is a textbook boxer. That was a dumb comparison. And if he did go the Wilder route, then you better hope Bivol would be able to fight in his mid to late 30s at a high level. Bivol's "route" as I said isn't much different than others who had long amateur careers and turned professional late. Should Rigondeaux and Lomachenko also taken built up fights until they turned 32 or 33???

Nobody is saying any of those guys should take build up fights until their mid 30s. Fact is these guys are facing guys with way more pro experience with very few fights. I was just commending the guy for it...you keep trying to make it something else.

No, you tried to make it something it wasn't. It's not "amazing" at all a 27 year old beast in Bivol is getting his name thrown with other elite fighters in his weight class. The professional experience that he doesn't have he makes up with his amateur schooling. Dude had almost 300 amateur fights and is 27 years old. He has no other option but to be moved fast due to his late start in the professional game.

I didn't say it was amazing...I said its crazy that we're talking about him and the best guys in the division when he has relatively little pro experience, cuz it isn't exactly common. Instead of looking for ways to **** on it, give credit where it's due.

In the land of make believe. Jack went to war with Stevenson, robbed on the degale draw (he tried to knock degale out but couldn't), beat Bute, groves, dirrell.
I can see Bivol winning by split decision but also can see jack winning by split decision as well.
Bivol doesn't have the power to ko jack but no one knows if Bivol can take punishment like jack gave to Stevenson and degale. Good fight for sure.

And once again, it isn't crazy AT ALL to think a 27 year old with his type of talent is being talked about with the best guys in the division. You even have some saying Jack ducked Bivol to fight Stevenson.

Give credit where it's due? How about live in reality? 15 fights for a 27 year old with 300 amateur fights isn't the same as 15 fights fights for a 23 year old with 80 amateur fights.
