Hatman: Wilder ducked Klitschko...

What else is there to argue about if he's on record saying that?Wilder is on record before Wlad fought Jennings stating ‘why do I need to fight Klitschko now when I can wait for him to get old’, I remember thinking to myself after the wbc gave their blessing for a unification damn, but tbf Vitali could have vacated sooner and Wlad could have unified earlier against say Stiverne. Wilder was well within his rights to allow Klitschko to age and slow like Clenelo did with Golovturd.

still went against their own rules for vacancies and had other ranked boxers who paid sanctioning fees for shot at the vacant belt instead fight for that bogus WBA regular title so they won't get suedHearn lobbied the WBA because Wlad wasn’t going to fight unless it was on the line due to him having a high ranking already and not wanting to miss out on the chance to unify the belts again should he beat Joshua and only hold the IBF, he knew he could go after the WBA and the Joshua fight would still be there down the road.Comment

Yeah, I think between the two, Joshua's fought far better opposition but Wilder's getting there slowly. Still, AJ's already got Whyte, Klitschko, Povetkin, Takam, Parker and three of the belts. I mean, I honestly couldn't scoff at all that in 22 fights even if I wanted to do so. AJ sure did give Klitschko a shot and nearly paid for it but he battled through and won like a true champion. I will say that Wilder did the same against Ortiz as well. These two guys just need to get in the ring and do this thing.Comment
