I would agree with you, except that Warren is in financial trouble. That's one of the reasons why Tyson Fury is fighting Wilder so early in his comeback.

Dubois is still not at that level.
Oh shut up, you know they were mandate to fight each other you cream pie.

Early cash-in then? I've heard of Warren's financial issues but nothing detailed. I'm guessing it's less late credit-payment fees, and more danger of filing for bankruptcy?

I think it's a combination of legal bills and HMRC serving him with a bankruptcy petition over unpaid taxes.

Ouch! I would say good riddance if his business goes belly up, but he's Hearn's only real competition for UK promotions at the moment and therefore making Matchroom/Sky keep things fresh. Without Warren or somebody else stepping up to fill the void, the UK boxing scene could end up going stale. Haymon expanding over here on ITV could help that somewhat, but the old spider plays the long game to much for my liking.

It's amazing what you can find out if you read the small print under the headlines!
I know it's become mandatory but Gorman has been calling him out since last year.

From what I read, Warren has been avoiding having to accept his bankruptcy petition notice from HMRC, and they are not chasing him too hard because he intends settling the debt with his cut of the Fury/Wilder money.

Gorman and Dubois are around the same level, otherwise they wouldn't have been ordered to fight each other in a title elininator. Gorman has had a few more pro fights but Dubois has more amateur experience.

Let's hope it sell well states-side then, I can't see it doing much over here when it's live in pre-dawn hours. Only real die-hard Fury fans will be watching the fight live, so I'd be surprised if it does anywhere close to 500k buys. If it was in New York, the kinder time difference would help out a bit.
