IMO the sport should be affordable for everybody so 65 tickets sold even if they are a buck each is good. And people in attendance are going to buy merchandise so it is going to generate more money anyway.

If they can't sell the expensive ones, it's not going to do as much revenue is it? You're trying to argue about the unit cost because you have obviously got a problem, but your argument is a bit transparent, I don't really care about your opinion on the UK market.

We are talking about where the fight does overall better numbers. The ultimate goal is revenue, if you can sell something for cheaper but more of it you can make more money. This Wilder-Fury fight probably does very well in the UK, so they'll have to justify why if this fight does poorly, or let me correct seeing as you are hellbent on being pedantic today, if it doesn't generate the same revenue.

Wilder will get the majority of the blame for that, and it weakens his negotiating position, which is the original point I made in my first post.

For the record I don't think it does well, Wilder is not a US ppv fighter. But if I'm proven wrong then I'll admit I was. You said 350k is what it needs to do to match Joshua's average? I think it will do half that. Also why take Joshua's average? Why not his biggest fights? Seeing as this is far and away Wilder's biggest fight. If you look at that then, he needs to do 500k buys ($37,500,000 in revenue) to match Joshua.
