The only feared fighter he faced was ggg.. After 2 yrs of waiting and after it took a welterweight to step up first. It's pathetic that brook was willing to do what Canelo refused to do and even gave up a hard earned title just to avoid him. And at 35/36,no fighter is a boogie man anymore.Last edited by bigdunny1; 11-20-2018, 02:49 PM.

Or put him in with lemieux who aside from having just a punchers chance, is low risk, and is also a golden boy fighter who could be profited from if somehow he pulls off the miracle?
several occasions canelo has made haters eat crow... he scared of trout doe, he scared of lara doe, he scared of ggg doe...

GGG ducked a boogyman Ward and is now ducking guys at 160. And we going on over half a decade since GGG said 154 or 168. Could of fought Canelo 1 year earlier if he agrees to drop weight to meet Canelo. Instead he delayed the fight over weight.

As far as ggg, Canelo ducked him for 2 yrs, took clen to stay away from the mw division and tried to avoid the fight with weak catch weight and flat fee offers. I'm not surprised that you're gullible enough to have bought into that nonsense though. He waited for ggg to get old and then he decided that he'd take his chances, and still, even as a 28 yr old vs a 36 yr old, couldn't win convincingly. Ggg definitely ducked ward. But the list of people who ducked ggg is much longer. That just includes Canelo, cotto, martinez, Sturm, Eubank Jr, froch,

Loeffler said that Golovkin would have no problem fighting at a catchweight against Alvarez, who fought Lara in a 155-pound bout.
“We’ve always said that if there is a compelling fight, Gennady would move up or down, we’ve talked about moving up to 168 for Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. because that would be a pay-per-view fight and if it’s Canelo, then I’m sure that we could work out a catchweight if he wanted to work out a catchweight and if it’s in his best interest. So that would certainly be a pay-per-view fight,” said Loeffler.
“There wouldn’t be any issues for us to come down to fight Canelo. There would still be a title on the line for Gennady because he would be fighting under 160, so he would be able to defend the titles at 156 or whatever you have the weight be. But Gennady would be willing to come down in weight to fight Canelo. I wouldn’t say it would be at 154 but certainly, given that Canelo fought his last fight at 155, then you could say that Gennady would certainly be willing to come down in weight to make the Canelo fight.”
That's what phuk boy Tom Loeffler (GGG's promoter) said before Canelo/Cotto and as soon as Canelo won they demanded the fight ONLY at 160 refused any catchweight when canelo had never fought at that weight delaying the fight. What happened to 154 or 168 and what happened to Toms words leading up to Canelo/Cotto? That's why the fight was delayed and they had to sit and wait for Canelo to move up to 160 since they refused to fight him below 160. So take your tears elsewhere

Now you upset about the weight not that he fought the boogyman and fighters your clown azzz probably said he never would fight. And how did Canelo duck GGG for 2 years when nobody started mentioning GGG as an opponent until AFTER he beat Cotto Nov 21 2015 and signed to fight GGG on May 2017 and ultimately the fought happened Sept 2017 so already your math is off. And Canelo told GGG he could fight him in 2016 if he went down in weight since Canelo at that time had never fought higher then 155 EVER in his career professionally or as amateur. And this is after GGG's own puzzzy promoter said this about fighting the winner of Canelo or Cotto and how they know they have to go down in weight and it's no problem.

And don't ignore that oscar kept offering no ppv upside. Nobody was going to take that offer for a fight that we all knew would sell over 1 mil ppvs. Also, Ggg was mandatory for the wbc for a while. The only reason the fight between Canelo and Cotto happened was because ggg agreed to step aside with the condition that he'd get the shot at the winner. That fight happened in Nov of 2015 and Canelo got into the ring with him in Sept of 2017. That's 22 months and 3 straight fights of Canelo taking jot only low risk opponents, but he actually was willing to make less money than he would've vs ggg just to avoid him. But go on, defend the duck you clown ass fan boy.
