So your definition of duck is whenever a fighter has mandatories its a duck. Whenever TWO boxers build up hype behind a potential bout along with their promotional team these are ducks too.
The man has never ducked a fighter, has faced the best opposition out of damn near any boxer today.
in the case of ggg, Canelo gave up the only title he had, to avoid a mandatory that actually stepped aside to let him get that title in the first place. He then went on to fight 3 guys who were kuch lower risk and generated less money than he would've made vs ggg. So yes that was a duck. Charlo remains to be seen but if he isn't fighting jacobs or charlo instead for his next fight, in may, then that's a duck too. Yeah, Canelo has faced top competition, but most of that came 4 plus yrs ago. Since then his biggest wins were vs 36 yr old cotto and 36 yr old ggg after waiting him out.
he has a shot, but I think Canelo is too well-rounded/experienced
but that could be a great fight if Charlo has the right approach..... the main point is, those are the fights that need to happen for clarity at 160
Yeah there is a few good ones at 160. I don’t know why he is wasting time with this fight at 168 against that dude. He and ggg better step up and not just wait for the trilogy but I’m pretty sure both are waiting for that money in the trilogy
