So boxing is not dying? I actually thought you meant it was dying in America and no point in Hearn trying to go around introducing boxing. Maybe I read it wrong..

Boxing is what it is. One would be foolish to think it can become mainstream in the states, but also just as foolish to think it will die. Neither are true. Boxing is fine, still hanging around.

I never said there is no point in Hearn going to these cities other promoters have abandoned. In fact, I said I like the fact he is trying to take boxing in places like Boston/Kansas/etc. However, I also mentioned there is a reason you don't see many fights in those areas. Plenty of smart promoters have gone away from those places for a reason. He's not exactly going to those cities with marquee fights either. That sure doesn't help.

DAZN has literally been launched 2 months ? Saying nobody is coming after just two months is ludicrous. Got to give them a chance. I would say having a four belt heavyweight champion and undisputed cruiserweight champion isn’t a bad starting point to work from!

Four belt HW champion? Since when was he from America? Since when was he not already with Hearn? And launched for two months, but he has been after fighters for far longer than that.

Getting Usyk was very good for the hardcore fan. However, there is a reason that guy fights on the road every fight. He doesn't have much of a base nor is he a big name stateside. The guys he went after: Spence/Broner/Charlos/Tank/Wilder/Thurman/Porter/etc all stayed put and that is unlikely to change. I mean one or two of them may eventually leave to Hearn, but again, why would they necessarily go to Hearn over GBP?

What’s good, homey!! I barely post but every now and then I get the itch. We need some more level-headed dudes in here.

We shall see. That is where there is a big difference between the UK and USA. Networks license fees is what matters most and not the live gate. Until that changes, I doubt we will see better crowds or stadium fights. Though we will be seeing a stadium fight in Spence/Garcia. Will it do massive AJ type of numbers? Of course not, but the hope is it exceeds 30k and gets around the 40k range. That would be very good IMO. Will stadium fights become a norm though? Highly unlikely.

Am very certain if a high profile fight start is gate with $30/40 on a regular, it will attract stadium fights without a blink.

I strongly believe so. The fans are there, the population is an advantage. All the promoters need do is to give them reasons to be at the fight night with a more affordable gate.
