Boxing is what it is. One would be foolish to think it can become mainstream in the states, but also just as foolish to think it will die. Neither are true. Boxing is fine, still hanging around.
I never said there is no point in Hearn going to these cities other promoters have abandoned. In fact, I said I like the fact he is trying to take boxing in places like Boston/Kansas/etc. However, I also mentioned there is a reason you don't see many fights in those areas. Plenty of smart promoters have gone away from those places for a reason. He's not exactly going to those cities with marquee fights either. That sure doesn't help.
