For those saying Golovkin is a hype job well he's a hype job that went 24 rounds with whats considered an elite fighter and lost by one point. To those trashing Canelo, he passed his last round of tests, doesn't change the past but we are in the present he also went 24 rounds with a fighter and won by one point.

I say let's do it again, enjoy the fight and hope either man wins more convincingly.
That was resoundingly even handed. Why are you on Boxing Scene???

I picked Trip G to win both fights. I thought he won the first, but was okay with the tie. The second fight is a simple breakdown: Canelo was a more complete fighter that did not take many steps backwards. Golovkin haters may want to say Alvarez dominated, but he didn't. Golovkin wobbled and hurt Alvarez twice in the back end of that fight. He had an amazing effort to step it up. But I honestly can see how Alvarez was given the fight. He had more varied output and more diverse offense. He hit the body well, and held his position in the middle of the ring, forcing Golovkin to move and exert himself.

I agree with turned up. One more would be just as epic as the first two. If you do not have some measure of respect for both of these men's output in these matches, I do not know why you watch boxing. Not liking one or the other of these two, fine. I hated the baby way Golovkin ran from the ring after he lost. I am very skeptical of Alvarez not doping. But to not respect how close these fights were is silly and petty.

He certainly proved many of his haters wrong, but he still won the fight by a hair, and was close to being ktfo in the last 3 rounds when GGG finally stopped fighting like an idiot (in the backfoot throwing mostly jabs)..GGG allowed a smaller guy with a one year layoff and coming from a surgery dictate the pace and be the agressor for most of the fight, and you cant do that **** in vegas specially after being screwed on the cards in the first fight

        Throw the damn towel!
Idiot, read my first post, I said he got the decision in a close fight. Didn't say robbed you illiterate fool. I do think he was robbed in the first fight of a win though. And yes, I thought on the day of the weigh in, there was chance canelo was setting himself up to fight a different type of fight and might get ko'd. He didn't, but I never said an easy win. that's just you again trying to make things up because you really can't mess with me when it comes to boxing knowledge. I'm boxing a fan, you're a fan boy. That's why I can throw multiple bad scorecards in your face proving that he's gotten more bad scorecards than anyone, and you just wanna ignore that and pretend you've proved something that you haven't. The fact is, there isn't anything on this earth that you can beat me at. And that includes boxing knowledge and boxing itself.

FACT: CANELO PROVED YOU WRONG !!

and that fight was not a draw, Canelo won !!

pitty-pat jabs are not valid scoring criteria..... that is not how you "outwork" an opponent, not even in the amateurs

it comes down to who won the exchanges and who controlled the fight

you guys need to stop with the crybaby excuses and give the man his props..... FOR PROVING YOU WRONG !!
I don't have to do s***. That's the problem with you Canelo fans. You want everyone to cherish him as y'all do but wanna ignore the truth. He gets favorable scoring, favorable treatment, has been gifted belts he doesn't deserve since he was in his early 20s and is an entitled fighter. You can overlook that because of your deep rooted love for him, but for me, it's a turnoff as a boxing fan to see a guy get more credit than he deserves both inside and outside of the ring.

if Golovkin beat Charlo or Andrade or Jacobs..... then good for him

then he will deserve another Canelo payday

                until then..... meh

he would probably be favored to win those fights, so his decision-making must be extremely disappointing for Golovkin fans
                No no no no no
No trilogy please. He can’t beat canelo dude. If it’s close the judges are bought if canelo stands there he is too scared to pull the trigger I’m over that match up to

there are FOUR official scoring criteria in boxing.....

Canelo won ALL of them in the rematch lol

                    " oh, but..... pitty-pat jabs doe "

                    this is ridiculous

like I care what an idiot fan base thinks of my posts? That's like caring when a 5 yr tells you they can beat you up. You can't take it serious when you're dealing with simple undeveloped brains. Bunch of inbreds
