Golovkin wobbled and hurt Alvarez twice in the back end of that fight. He had an amazing effort to step it up. But I honestly can see how Alvarez was given the fight. He had more varied output and more diverse offense. He hit the body well, and held his position in the middle of the ring, forcing Golovkin to move and exert himself.
I agree with turned up. One more would be just as epic as the first two. If you do not have some measure of respect for both of these men's output in these matches, I do not know why you watch boxing. Not liking one or the other of these two, fine. I hated the baby way Golovkin ran from the ring after he lost. I am very skeptical of Alvarez not doping. But to not respect how close these fights were is silly and petty.
