This is just how americans operate

If Joshua was american they would be calling him the new riddick bowe and saying how he would have demolished Lewis and the Klitschkos in their prime, his flaws would be dismissed as him being "young", and they would say a "green inexperienced Joshua destroyed a prime seasoned klitschko"

I've been on these forums for 10 years, I know how americans work, look how they are riding Wilder who has one debatably "good" win in a 10 year career, just because he's american.

They both confirmed the cash was there, so your position doesn't make any sense.

They were dealing with BT sports which would make a Joshua fight impossible. So the offer wasn't serious.
That's a lie. BT's only involvement was to make a bid on the UK rights, Sky had the opportunity to match the offer. Unlike Hearn's offer to Wilder, where the fight would have to be on DAZN even if Showtime offered more, Wilder's 50 million offer stipulated that the fight could be on Sky if they matched BT's offer.

They can't help it. Any none American with a resume like Millers would be dismissed as someone that has fought nobody and wouldn't even be talked about. Because Miller is American he's a top 5 HW.

By the simple fact that he is ducking Wilder.

          Should have happened this year.

Two ducks so far by Joshua, how many more times are you going to allow him to duck?

They are just waiting on Wilder to get old before taking the fight.

How do they know the cash was there? They didn't see it you moron. They confirmed they received the offer.

The were in financial negotiations with Warren and BT sport. Why bother when they know Joshua can't fight on BT? Because they didn't want the damn fight.

Match BT's offer? Why would they be offering anything? The fight would be PPV, the payment would come out of PPV earnings.

Where did you get the bollocks about matching BT's offer. Provide the proof or are you lying yet again.

They both admitted the money was real. The head of Showtime publicly confirmed the money was real. Nobody involved in the situation is disputing the money was real. Only brainwashed AJ fans who didn't get the memo that even Hearn himself confirmed the money was legit.

That's a lie. Warren was asked to find out what BT would offer for the fight so that Wilder's side could make sure Sky was making a fair offer. You don't guarantee 50 million to AJ without trying to maximize the value of the Uk rights so you can try to make your money back. Were they supposed to pay AJ his 50 million and then just give the fight to Sky for free? How else do you determine fair market value for the UK rights without consulting other networks? Finkel repeatedly said publicly there was no problem having the fight on Sky as long as Sky offered fair market value.

Because you're a fan that knows absolutely nothing about how the industry works, you don't realize that when you do a major PPV, the distributor guarantees X amount of buys and fronts money for purses. They also commit X amount of dollars to marketing, etc. There is also wiggle room on negotiating the split. Sky would have no incentive to make a fair offer for the UK rights if BT wasn't able to submit a bid.

You're talking absolute bollocks. SKY already has the rights for Joshua fights, why would they be making offers?

Why was Haymon negotiating with BT when he knows Sky Already has the rights to Joshua fights?

Notice how you didn't respond to the request for proof of the claim that the rights would go to Sky if they matched BT. You've been caught lying yet again.

Sky has the rights to Matchroom's events, if Joshua accepted the $50 million to fight for PBC, it's not a Matchroom event. You can't ask for $50 million and then also demand to retain the UK rights for free on top of the $50 million.

Revealing some negotiations over parts of the US deal did take place, Finkel exclusively told World Boxing News: “Eddie wanted assurances from us that the fight would be on Sky Sports in the UK and we said; ‘As we are putting up $50m, as long as Sky matches any other bid they got it’.

“We just didn’t want Sky to post a low number on Pay-Per-View and we could have gotten more to recoup the $50m which would have been on Showtime PPV in the US. If he took the $50m that would have been our choice. We also acknowledged that if they are paying us $15m (instead for a UK fight), he could just go on Sky – there’s not really a question about that.”

Sky has rights to Joshua fights. Joshua has his own deal with Sky. Sky aren't going to pay for a fight when they are already entitled to them. Haymon knew this, but chose to involve BT and the only explanation for that is it was a roadblock to prevent it happening.

Finkel? You need a better source than that. He said they agreed to 15 mil and then claimed they didn't.
