Canelo didn't vacate to avoid having his purse dictated. He vacated because he wanted GGG to get older before fighting him.

Canelo knew GGG was the WBC mandatory challenger and would be waiting to fight him before he even won the title from Cotto, and he knew what the puse split would be when he agreed to fight GGG next.

Good question about the purse split now Canelo is with DAZN. I guess if GGG signs with DAZN too then GBP and Loeffler would have to work out how to share the money they would both be getting from DAZN.

But, hypothetically, what if Canelo was ever involved in a purse bid with an opponent who didn't want to fight on DAZN, like Charlo? And what if the opponent's promoter won the bid .. would Canelo then have to vacate his title ?

A few months ago ggg said he was to small for 168. I wonder if Canelo moving up in weight made ggg move up in weight.

SO? Triple L was ranked #1 at middleweight & he isn't even that good to be ranked that high & there is not many good fighters at 168, the competition is at 160. Face it, he is avoiding the competition.

So if hes not that good enough to be ranked that high, why are you screaming everyday that he needs to fight a guy who 1. Nobody knows 2. Has never fought anyone worth a damn. 3. Has no bargaining leverage. ? Since you have no answer for that, how about you list Charlos 5 best wins so we can see what makes him soooo great.

Believe it or not,I used to not only be a fan of ggg,but I actually at first believed the lie that he was being ducked.
I only have learned to not stand ggg after yrs of undelivered promises & blatant hypocrisy. But make no mistake I think hes a top fighter,just one of the most hypocritical & who has wasted his career. And remember 1 thing: above all else,I come on here to lmao & im a natural joker by nature,so I will always take any opportunities to make myself/others laugh. No offense ever truly intended unless someone (not you) attacks me 1st.

Well I think I am becoming the same, I am still a huge fan of GGG, the Jacobs and first Canelo fight were what we were waiting for, but the next fight is pretty important for his credibility. I have the same attitude on the forum no offense taken at all my man!

Jermall Charlo has run Canelo and Golovkin out of the 160lb division. They made all this money off the fans but don’t want to give the fans a good fight to watch. No one wants to see Canelo/Golovkin 3 #whatswrongwithboxing
