Yes, these fights can still happen when their old as dirt. Aside from PBC matching them against bums and making terrible fights they also keep them on the shelf for long periods of time.

We will have to wait to long

Only problem I have with the fights are the dates. If Thurman fight in Jan, and Porter fight in March then they will not fight again until Sept of next year. So we wont get a Spence and Porter or Thurman until 2020. Garcia will fight the winner out of Pac and Broner. Spence will fight Garcia in March and then another nobody at the end of the year because there will be no big name to fight again. Porter and Thurman , Garcia and Pac will be all fighting. Unless Bob and Al can swap Garcia for Crawford no other Welterweights to fight for Spence

Ok card. Thurman and Garcia have to take tune ups before moving up.

Yes indeed! GRJ basically said that while he was a guest on some PBC card prior to his fight with Diaz and right after the Diaz fight. Part of the reason why he doesn't fight too often is to protect his hands and give his body ample time to rest he said. Shall I add that the money seems to be pretty good for a "part time" fighter.

Before the Diaz fight (May 19th, 2018), Dan Rafael tweeted: "I am told that Russell's purse is 1.4 million plus the gate at the MGM National Harbor (which appears full)"

Yes, Thurman may call for the WBC shot before Berto. Never said otherwise. And yes, I can see Berto waiting until he gets it. Would he have been fine with the DSG payday over the title shot? Possibly, but can't say for certain.

And no one would pay for the Porter/Berto rematch? I'm sure FOX or SHO would air it.
dont be so sure. The first fight wasn’t competitive at all. At least Granados would be a decent test for thurman and make the fight watchable.

We shall see, I mean FOX picked up LSC/Flores FFS. Can't tell me the rematch is worse than that ***** lol.
