Garcia would beat Berto easier than he will Granados. Would you pick Berto to beat Granados? Because I wouldn't.

And besides, Berto has a title shot lined up so would he even take the Garcia fight and risk his shot at the WBC title?

FOX aren't going to get much better ratings for Garcia/Berto as they would for Garcia/Granados. Same for Thurman/Lopez opposed to Thurman/Granados.

U like these triangle theories of matchups but that doesn’t work in boxing. Plus u still aren’t looking at the big picture. U conveniently left out how big of an upgrade Thurman-Granados is to Lopez. Berto isn’t a step below Granados and is 50-50 with Berto. Lots of wars in Grandados.

As for the title shot, it would come against Porter. No one is paying for that rematch.

Forget triangle theories, I'm saying Granados beats Berto period. And Thurman is fighting a tune up, the Lopez fight is fine. We both know what that fight is so I'm not looking for a big upgrade there.

Yes, Thurman may call for the WBC shot before Berto. Never said otherwise. And yes, I can see Berto waiting until he gets it. Would he have been fine with the DSG payday over the title shot? Possibly, but can't say for certain.

And no one would pay for the Porter/Berto rematch? I'm sure FOX or SHO would air it.

As much as we want GRJ and Santa Cruz, you can't say for sure that Showtime will pick up that fight cause of their schedules. Leo should want the top names. He is after all a WBA Super World featherweight champion

I agree this suks but it sounds more like Russell didnt want the fight and prefers to stay retired. Leo did just fight Mares who is a top 3-5 FW.

They're not bad matchups. Could they be better? Sure. But compared to what everyone else is putting on this is okay.

Is Top Rank or Golden Boy or Matchroom doing better than this or at this level or worse?

The thing is PBC has the strongest roster so they should be held to higher standards right now. They just seem to consistently deliver the minimum of what they believe can get away with. I'm not uninterested in Porter vs Ugas and Danny vs Granados but as the highlights of the schedule they don't cut it
