The Usyk hype as bad as the Loma hype?

What about yourself and your ridiculous hype for Brant and other boxers from your state? You really seem to hate those excellent Eastern European champions GGG, Loma and Usyk. New flash for you. All three of them are high up on every important PFP top 10 list. I guess Ring Magazine, Boxing Scene, Boxrec, ESPN, HBO and the others all fell for the hype then.Comment

GTFOH with your race aspect you keep saying is there. Boxing fans who like GGG, Loma and Usyk like them because they are highly skilled exciting fighters who kick much ass and usually win in style often by KO and not because of a racial aspect. There could well be a racial aspect to the extreme hate you and some other posters have for great Eastern European boxers.Comment

Usyk and Loma are way beyond the "hype" stage. they have proven their greatness over and over. no hype is needed. a hyped fighter is someone who has yet to step up competition. for example Tank Davis is hype. Usyk is not hype.Comment

Why u hate on Loma exactly? Tell me the deep down reasonComment

Listen Usyk and Loma are probably P4P 1 and 2....p4p it’s a toss up between either of them and Spence, Bud, or Canelo. They’re that damn good and I’m a black American who acknowledges that outright. That being said I saw Usyk vs Joyce at HW and Joshua would hurt that boy as would Deontay and a few others.Comment

I don't think you can really blame it on "hype" when a boxer is out proving that they're the best. Victor Ortiz was overhyped, Chris Eubank Jnr was overhyped, Kovalev was even overhyped. There is "hype" around Loma and Usyk but Loma is out beating current and former champions and Usyk unified the cruiserweight division and KO'd a guy everyone thought he would at best beat on pts.
Like other posters I've never heard anyone mention Loma fighting Spence and if they did they clearly dksab because that's just ridiculous, we all saw how much bigger Linares was when they both fought at 135.
But Usyk moving up to heavyweight isn't as far of a stretch. He's 6'3", probably walks around at 210-215 lbs and could put on some more weight I imagine. With his skill set it's sort of unfair not to give him any chance against Joshua (who is slow and stiff) and Wilder (who doesn't know how to box).
Not saying he definitely wins either fight, but why write him off? Wouldn't they be interesting to see? Plus, it probably is about 50/50 people saying he will get KOd brutally at heavyweight or he will dominate the division.Comment

The same guys who would tell you Errol Spence is the next SRR will tell you USYK is a bum and he's an overrated hype job even though he's done 10x more in his career than the guy who hasn't fought a live body in 2 years
It is what it is.....Comment
