Anthony Joshua is the unified champion. I am sorry but therefore, Joshua is held to a much higher standard than champions like Wilder and contenders like Luis Ortiz. The same would go for Wilder, Ortiz. Tyson, Holyfield, Lewis and Ali if or when they were the unified or undisputed champions. Those champions would have never avoided or ducked any opponent unlike AJ.

My good man, he has to. He is overall, the unified heavyweight champion of the world. So, therefore he has many more mandatory defenses to challenge. It would be the very same thing, if it had been Deontay Wilder, Luis Ortiz or Tyson Fury if they wanted keep their titles.

Well one would have to know actual history of the belts because the WBA holds the most notoriety its the belt that Ali, Louis and Floyd Patterson had way before the WBC was created. Besides that which is irrelevant to the topic it was wilder not signing a contract in the end ,the only contract written up .
