Just the opposite in fact. Usyk's power usually does not impress me.

No, I wasn't left disappointed. Actually, I was impressed. Obviously, he carried Tony in the first half of the fight by showing him too much respect.

He knew that Bellew was attempting to set traps for him by baiting him in as the aggressor but he refused to bite the bait. However, I believed once Usyk noticed that Tony couldn't really hurt him and he started to wane just a bit, he took over the fight and became more aggressive by throwing more punches.

Once he realized that he was the naturally larger, faster, stronger and younger of the two. He started to press more and take more chances as the fight progressed as he eventually stopped Tony in the eighth.

People said the same **** after the Briedis fight. I was very impressed with his power actually.

          can't see what's disappointing..

Bellew won some early rounds and then got beat up once Usyk adjusted like great fighters do.

All top fighters have had to make adjustments and find a way to win. At least we know he can do that, same as guys like Floyd, ward, Crawford etc..all had to do.

He got the job done. What are these clowns talking about?
Why would any real fan get disappointed?

I was impressed. He made adjustments as good fighters do.
Bellew is crafty in there, and Usyk didn't let himself fall for the traps.

You could see the tide starting to turn a few rounds before the KO.

Not unless you've built Usyk up to be some kind of god in the ring the way we boxing fans do sometimes. Dude was never in any real danger and spent the first 2 or 3 figuring Tony out like he does with most of his opponents. Add to that that Bellew's widely underated (especially by those who've only really seen him getting flattened by Stevenson) - elite he ain't but he's solid and knows his craft.

This was what I said before the fight...

Personally I just see it turning into a battering by 9 or 10 and a merciful corner stoppage in the championship rounds. I do give Tony credit for having a hell of a heart though, so he may make it to the end.
Not spot on, but not too shabby either.

Not at all. He showed he's too smart to get suckered into another guy's gamelan, and can finish a fight if he decides he wants to close. I was concerned about him frequently being happy to win a UD but he did exactly what I hoped/expected him to do.
