I actually think Schaefer will be involved in this UK experiment. He is the one who signed Joyce and he may be able to sign a few other UK prospects. Schaefer could be the one that puts on the PBC UK cards on ITV.

We don't want this though. We're calling for DAZN, not another one to come in and expoit us. All of the UK is looking at how good you've got it now, but you lot don't want to except it.

We're getting to breaking point. ITV aren't going to put up the fees for cards, itll all be PPV, its doomed. That's why I call bull**** on it, its a venture that wont work.

The heyday of ITV boxing is long gone and the coverage these days is trash and it would be better if it qas on channel five and its affiliates.

Don't let the big crowds fool you, MUCH more money being invested stateside in boxing than in the UK. Haymon isn't going to try to take over another market when he has so much on his plate with all the PBC dates from 2019 and on. Could it be another revenue source? Sure, because the PBC cards need to be picked up by some platform as it won't be Sky or BT Sports anymore as those two linked up with other American promotional companies.

If you are expecting this to be a big thing, then you will be disappointed. Haymon will get a few dates here and there with ITV and then have his PBC cards picked up by them. Definitely good for the UK fans, but nothing groundbreaking for Haymon.

That's completely reasonable. And wouldnt doubt it if they only get 4 or 6 shows a year. However my only point I'm attempting to make is things very rarely happen by accident with haymon. If things leak it always leak to a little known media outlet first and when big things are about to happen with him all major media is tight lipped until it's time for it to be public knowledge

What the hell does it mean you lot don't want to except it?

ITV isn't going to charge for the US PBC cards if they air them. And as for PPV? Sorry, that's all that takes place in the UK. Any decent/good fight goes straight to PPV. DAZN isn't coming to the UK, but if it does then Sky gets out of boxing.

As for in the US, it isn't all that great either. We have to pay tons a month for boxing. DAZN/SHO/ESPN+/ESPN/etc. What is great is we get tons of boxing.

Haymon doesn't leak to anyone. When things are leaked related to Haymon's business, it is by other parties involved. For example, the Pacquiao to Haymon news came from someone from his camp, not Haymon. The news of the PBC to FOX deal was first hinted of being close to done by Barbosa, who likely got it from someone like Sampson Lewkowicz.

There is nothing to take over when he doesn't have Joshua or Sky's backing.

He could pick up the same guys that have nowhere else to go, same as Hearn is doing with PBC. But no one will give up the Sky, and what Hearn offers in the UK.
But isn't itv a bigger network than sky is? Why stay with a network where fans have to pay to see you when you could go to itv and get millions more watching you

In Hollywood and the music industry execs have articles or stories written in order to get outcomes they want in negotiations or from competition

Not true if itv is a bigger platform than sky and it's free joshua wouldnt be necessary to build new up and coming stars. It's like building crawford on HBO but spence on espn.

Also haymon has david haye and schaefer getting uk fighters
