A big if, but what happens if Fury BEATS Wilder?

You can't compare tickets of the U.K with the U.S. Your tickets are about only 20% of the costs of the tickets in the U.S.
If the tickets prices are sold as low as they are in the U.K. Every boxing event in America would be sold out. Also, the same can be said about your pay per view, your pay per views are probably only a fourth of what they cost in America.
So in short summary, you guys business model is to slash the prices in order to keep the consumers/fans coming. That's how you generate your profits and revenue.
Promoters in the states have to work at least as five times as hard as they do in the U.K. To put on shows because the business model here is vastly different than it is the U.K.Comment

Very few boxing events are priced high in America. The majority are $25 tickets, these events come nowhere near to selling out. The UK has a lot more PPV's than the US. Only mega fights sell well on PPV in the US. Americans just don't support boxing unless it's a massive fight. You need to come to that reality. You can't compare tickets of the U.K with the U.S. Your tickets are about only 20% of the costs of the tickets in the U.S.

If they have then why is Matchroom boxing's Eddie Hearn here poaching for American fighters? I thought you said the U.K. is shining?Last edited by champion4ever; 11-08-2018, 08:20 AM.Comment

Lol you talk as if the UK is Lichtenstein or something. If the market here is so tiny then why does Joshua make 10x more money than Wilder? Wilder only has three opponents he could even dream of being paid eight figures for, and guess what they're all British. Meanwhile Joshua could fight Bogdan Dinu and walk away with a cool £15mYou do realize just how small the U.K. market is right. Fury and Joshua would do big money domestically but not globally. Eddie Hearn even admitted as such himself when he acknowledged that Wilder is a much bigger fight globally for AJ than Fury. Even ask your fellow British fanboys which fight they believe is bigger? Joshua/Fury or Joshua/Wilder? That is why most of your fellow compatriots want and hope to see Tyson Fury lose because they rather see AJ fight Wilder instead.Comment

Because Hearn is a promoter he wants to control as many fighters and put on as many events as he can. As a fan in the UK i prefer the fights happen over here, more the better, if the UK becomes the new home of boxing i'd love it. Americans wanting all the popular fighters to go to the US are thinking exactly the same.Comment

It's because your prices are a lot cheaper than U.S. That is why you draw large gates and pay per view numbers. Apply the same business model to the U.K. that we have in the U.S and let's see how well your boxing economy tank.Lol you talk as if the UK is Lichtenstein or something.
