A big if, but what happens if Fury BEATS Wilder?

I think this would be a disaster for the sport tbh

All the Americans would crawl back under their rock they have been under from 1997-2017

Fury can't be trusted to stay on the rails for a unification with AJ but even if he does that would only be a big fight in the UK

I dont see it happening though.

    He’d be the #1 HW

And people would be clamouring for a AJ fight

Even if he fights sporadically if he beats Wilder and beats him in a rematch , along with his Klit win you’d have to consider him the best HW of his era

There's no "if", I don't think much at all of Wilder's "skills" as a boxer. Fury is going to keep him at the end of the jab all night. Gypsy King gonna be THE NEW WBC Champion!

            How could he not

He was the man that went to enemy territory and beat the King then in his next significant fight beats the longest reigning HW Champ who is no worse then the #2 HW prime and undefeated and the biggest puncher in the sport

That is more impressive then what AJ has accomplished in his career

I mean the only reason AJ has his trinkets is because of Fury. It was Fury who got them off Klit . The IBF then stripped him because he was obligated to a rematch instead of fighting Glazkov enabling Martin to get it and because Fury went off the rails it allowed AJ to fight for the WBA against Klit who was inactive had lost his previous fight and hadn’t looked
Impressive in years and allowed Parker to get his by narrowly beating Andy Ruiz

AJ beating Martin , Klit a year and a half after Fury did and Parker and Povetkin doesn’t equal to what Fury’s done if he beats Wilder

How the f.uck could you not consider him the #1 HW if he beats Wilder

Joshua beat the same guy. A better version if you ask me, Wlad was much more determined and took risks. Joshua has been piling up win over top 10 fighters since. Wilder while holding a title hasn't really proven anything, his best win is over another unproven fighter. Joshua is the clear #1 and will be so until someone beats him.

                F.ucking stop

In what universe does a 41 year old HW often injured who hadn’t fought in 18 months in a fight where he almost got shut out in and before that had a very avg performance against Jennings a better version then the one Fury beat

Just because it was a more entertaining fight doesn’t Mean it was a better Klit

HW is relatively weak so beating top 10s isn’t that impressive and AJ beating a older Klit Molina , Breazeale, Takam , Whyte , Parker , Povetkin doesn’t equal Fury beating Klit when it mattered and Wilder

                  One correction

Fury did not "go off the rails"

He tested positive for performance enhancers and recieved a backdatex ban.

Technically he fought Klitschko at a time he was banned from boxing for drug abuse.

Fury did that to himself. If hed been caught earlier the klitschko fight wouldnt have ever happened.

What should have happened is fury-klitschko should have been a NC but as there were new champions who had already made defences the sanctioning bodies just let it be.

Everyone knew Wlad held himself back with his safety first approach before he fought Fury. He didn't have that mentality against Joshua and was a better fighter for it. In that world he was a better fighter. Wilder has beaten nobody to prove he's better than a Povetkin or even a Whyte, a win over him doesn't outweigh what Joshua has done.
