Whyte clearly ducked Ortiz, and has anyone noticed other top ten guys even entertain the thought of fighting Ortiz? Breazeale, Parker, Chisora, Povetkin, Miller, Usyk, Fury, or any of the younger up and coming guys?
That's because nobody cares about Ortiz except a few Wilder fanboys desperate to give their hero some credibility.

I've said this before .. after what happened to Kovalev and GGG, AJ would be crazy to fight Wilder in the States. Especially in Nevada, which is where Wilder's team want it.

Wilder being ahead on the scorecards when the Ortiz fight ended was another shocker.

I just hope Fury gets a fair shake from the ref and judges, if they are needed.

        same logic.
Are you dense? Wilder flew to Russia to fight Povetkin. The rest is history.

You have to be at least one of the three dumbest people on this site. If you were discussing boxing before the internet, this makes you even more ******.

Fighters are going to fight where they make the most money. That's the UK for Joshua. Fans have an old mindset for when the US was the home of HW boxing, that time has gone. UK is the new home of HW boxing. There's a big HW fight happening in the US in December and they've sold 7k tickets in over a month. HW boxing is dead in the US. US boxing needs Joshua, Joshua doesn't need the US.

I did not call you any names, so watch your mouth. You can disagree the live long day. What does Wikipedia have to do with anything? Anyone with any boxing knowledge would have said boxrec for finding out who people fought, so again you are off base. I have seen Sugar fight live as well as many others from that era, but even that does not matter when it comes down to it. Bottom line he has hall of famers in their prime on his ledger. So if you want to try and challenge cool, but address it like an adult, don't call me out of my name again over some dumb as **** as a boxing discussion!!

SRL is right, America is the historical home of boxing and still the country most associated with boxing. Anyone who is anyone has fought in America. Even Calazaghe had to finally succumb to the pressure and haul his arse over the pond to retire with some modicum of respect. AJ needs to buy a spine and fight in front of a foreign crowd, the big ****ing baby.

Lewis was big in America, but he didn't have a Hearn like promoter.

I am logged in to boxrec (and wikipedia) .. are you? and for most well known fighters, their wikipedia page appears in the search results BEFORE their boxrec page. I donate multiple times a year to help support wikipedia so perhaps I am bias towards it, but I do have a boxrec account for a reason (I'm active on the site)
