In hindsight would they have been better putting this fight on in the uk?
Could have surely sold 80k at Wembley?

At face value, it doesn't look good that tickets are being sold via Groupon. IMO, Groupon is synonymous with cheap deals to try and sell stock that hasn't sold. It really doesn't help the image of this fight if the majority of fans also see Groupon as I do.

However, if you want to get a ticket, then at least there are portals for fans to get them! It does also say that the Groupon page is powered by FanXchange - not that I have ever heard of that before but if you think of the audience of Groupon, maybe they see a December fight as being potential early Christmas presents?

Bottom line, this is so easily spun to be ultra negative. All I really care about is that the fight is happening, I couldn't care less if tickets haven't been sold, I will still be watching.

I said more than half the tickets put on sale had sold. Which was true.

Even if they've only sold 8,000, which is unlikely, that still would be way more than half of what was available.

Pathetic. You claimed there was 1800 left out of 21000. You argued with me when i said sections had been held back. You were wrong. There's no wiggling out of it maggot.

Yeah i think this fight would have been better off happening in the UK, it makes more sense in that regards. Wilder would be loved if he performed well and stops Fury. He would gain new fans over here too.

They would sell a good numbers of tickets at the O2 or wembley. The only issue would be the time which the fight would happen, most american fans would have to wake up in the middle of the night to watch it.

The sections you're claiming are held back are currently available for sale, so think about how ****** you sound.

              How old are you?

Sections being held back have been confirmed by Boone you clown.

I didn't say which sections were held back, just that there were some.

                Keep digging your hole.

You work in the sport and know though.

Opposite. When you guys have fights over there it means we usually have to stop what we are doing and find a TV at four in the afternoon

I don't think there is anything wrong getting deals on Groupon. I recently brought a ticket on groupon to see Chris Tucker at the hammersmith apollo, they do make you feel cheap though, at the entrance we had two seprate lines, the groupon line (Queue was longer) and the normal line.

And if a fight was selling fast those tickets wouldn't end up on Groupon, i don't like to revel in others BS but for weeks we were told they sold out now. So to see those tickets been sold through this avenue is a shocker to me.

Has there ever been a HW title fight that has been sold through groupon before?

Then you guys are lucky lol, we literally had to wake up 4am in the morning to watch those fights. Which means this Wilder/Fury fight would be around the same time. They would probably touch gloves around 5.30am. So for people that work like myself its a double edged sword.
