All this time, I've debated with Wilder fans and they have said that the fight would sell out and the PPV would be close to a million or at least half that, and now the fight is doing so bad it's being helped by Groupon. I've never even heard of Groupon helping sell a fight before hahahahaha. That is pathetic. And this chump wants 50/50 with AJ and Hearn? He should consider himself lucky to get 20%.
I had to read the website over and over again. Groupon???? Hahahahahaha. I wonder how the Wilder fans will spin this one? I said the fight will be in a half empty arena and the PPV will tank. But Wilder himself said that the PPV will do 2.5 million hahahahah. He will be lucky to do 100k at this point. But this dude wants 50/50 with AJ though....
Groupon are not selling official/face value tickets. they are working with FanXchange and selling third-party tickets.
It's on the front page provided in the link..... this is just Stubhub but the U.S version, which usually means high demand.
The tickets identified in this promotion are made available through FanXchange. Neither Groupon nor FanXchange owns the tickets to this event or sets ticket prices. FanXchange's third-party sellers list and sell the tickets. Because FanXchange's third-party sellers set the ticket price and because pricing is subject to the forces of supply and demand, the price may be above or below face value.

There's tons of tickets on the official site, whole damn sections. So the sold tickets are resllers and they can't shift them. Looks like not many fans actually have tickets, no interest.

You can try and spin this any way you want, the bottom line is, Groupon is helping to sell tickets hahzhahhzh. I mean damn, Groupon...

Fair enough, but I don't see how a fan exchange site selling tickets starting at $200+ dollars means anything.
Classic case of people trying to make money on a fight they think will be high demand.
