it is CLEARLY obvious who wants that fight, and who does not

only a very small child or an excuse-making fool would have any doubt

Finkel was protecting his cash cow, who was Klitschko at the time. In 2014, Klitschko didn't want Wilder to be the WBC champion, remember? He tried to freeze Wilder out, offering Wilder step aside money to fight the current WBC champion Stiverne. But Wilder declined, getting a mandated shot at Stiverne in 2015 (https://www.ringtv.com/338333-deontay-wilder-would-step-aside-for-10-million). Immediately after becoming the new WBC champion, he called out Klitschko (https://m.lasvegassun.com/news/2015/...y-klitschko-wl), but Finkel continued to protect his cash cow, wanting Wilder to build up his name before making the fight (https://www.boxingscene.com/wilder-n...-finkel--86714)

Klitschko decided to fight Fury later that year. But just before they fought, Wilder put Klitschko on notice again, remember? (https://www.forbes.com/sites/joshkatzowitz/2015/11/10/deontay-wilder-i-could-beat-wladimir-klitschko-tomorrow/#10ce78be1fea). In an upset, Fury beat Klitschko to become the lineal/WBA/IBF/WBO champion. Then Fury challenged Wilder in the ring after the Szpilka fight...

Klitschko then chose Joshua as the easier, safer fight after a 2 and a half year layoff. Why do you think he didn't pursue a fight with Wilder that whole time? Fighting for the one belt he never possessed?

didn't that guy Dave just tell you something similar ?

Why didn't he unify before AJ becomes champ? He couldn't even fight for the vacant WBA/IBO. What exactly has he been doing? I need to understand.

How does he go off and on to reclaim a title he vacated.
Doesn't matter what you or I think. That's the way it's worked for 133 years. Even after the great Muhammad Ali was suspended for 3 years and Frazier fought the #2 guy to continue the lineage, Muhammad Ali was still referred to as the "real" lineal champ in the Fight Of The Century (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fight_of_the_Century)

Finkel clearly stated that wilder is not ready for wlad and hide him behind the scene while feeding him with retired Manchester United players.
And Wilder clearly debunked Finkel, as proven...

Fury's case is very different. Joshua decided not to fight Wilder in September, so there is no confusion. There's only Joshua fans who are trying to discredit Fury so that his fight with Wilder will be seen as less important to casual fans. But history will show otherwise. History will show that Fury defended his crown against the most avoided fighter of his generation. A fighter so feared, that there was actually a fighter who refused to fight him for the most money offered in boxing history. Now THAT'S funny!
