Wilder owes Fury nothing. He doesn't need Tyson Fury. Tyson Fury needed him; That's why he asked Wilder for this fight because Deontay certainly didn't ask him for it and that's why it's happening because Wilder wanted it. If Deontay didn't want it then there would be no fight.

The reason why Deontay overlooked Fury as a potential opponent initially is because like most boxing experts and fans, he didn't believe that he was ready for a fight of this magnitude at the moment.

He felt, he needed to get himself back into fighting shape first and then get a few more tuneups under his belt. However, Tyson says he is. Therefore, the fight is a go.

Joshua on the other hand has no excuse. He's been active and fighting every overmatched bum underneath the sun since becoming champion who is not named Deontay Wilder.

The reason why there has been no Joshua vs Wilder fight is because AJ doesn't want it. He ain't ready for that work. He is afraid of getting his ass whooped.

Finkel said and set up a meeting with Hearn to discuss it then didn't because meetings are counter productive ?

Wilder wants to fight the best...but

Call AJ a ducker, call him a coward but what does that make Wilder.
          Wilder 33 fights in he fights for the WBC title 17th Jan 2015;
First pro fight 15th November 2008 so about 8 years as a pro

5th October 2013 AJ first pro fight. 9th of April 2016 fights for IBF title...after 15 fights and about 2 years 7 months. A year layer he fights Wladimir K for WBA and IBO, again about one year later he fights Parker for WBO.

Wilder i want to fight the best and kings fight kings, i feel Wilder has been holding out waiting for the big pay day. He should not be in this situation he should have cleared up all the belts, if he is that good it makes perfect sense for him to have gone and got those belts especially as Wilder fans will tell you how bad those champions AJ beat are. If Wilder had those trinket belts he would be massive in the USA only now is he starting to step up.

So he is fighting Fury who gave up his belts and got banned but to big it up he is still the lineal champion. Why to make the fight more interesting and to sell the fight, to give the winner greater bargaining power in any fight with AJ. ..and hoping it does big numbers in PPV

AJ is in no rush to fight Wilder, maybe he will be ready when he has 33 fights in. AJ is also the golden ticket to millions so eventually Wilder will come on board and meet AJ's terms. So AJ remains a coward until the Wilder fight but, if Wilder had been good enough to step up earlier he would have been a unified champion. Maybe Wilder was to scared to step up and just kept his mouth shut. ..........hence all the BS re AJ being a coward is just that BS. Its all business and Wilder has been badly managed that is the biggest crime...

Lol @ you trying to rationalize it as Wilder being weird and AJ just making a random claim on social media.
Hearn said he saw proof of funds and accepted the money was real? At the time?

            Link and source where please.

Will accept if so. But I highly doubt it's quite like that.

In any case Hearn was willing to talk about the 50 mill.

Shelley didn't wanna talk, clarify key points to the road to a deal, or meet.

IBF, IBO, WBA, WBO heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua (21-0, 20 KOs), and his promoter Eddie Hearn, are standing firm with their position that a unification wi

While Joshua was initially skeptical of the high offer, Hearn confirmed that it's legitimate and the money is there.

Even with $50 million on the table, Joshua is willing to make less money in order to face Wilder in the UK.

If Wilder wins, then Joshua is willing to make the rematch in the United States.

"It's the general opinion of myself, AJ and Rob McCracken [Joshua's trainer] that because of the status of AJ in the fight and what we've built over here in the U.K. that we should try and get it over here because he has earned the right for that fight over here," Hearn told Nick Parkinson.

"If Wilder wins, the rematch can be over there in America. We are going back and forth with talks at the moment and I'm confident we can make that fight. AJ appreciates he might not make as much money by fighting in the U.K. but realises that Wilder should be coming to the U.K. to fight first."

Joshua has grown accustomed to having massive crowds at his events, which recently range from 76-90,000 fans packing a stadium.

He doesn't like the idea of having his biggest fight before a watered down crowd of British fans.

"AJ asked me how many British fans could get tickets if the fight was in America and could get over and I said about 6,000 and that's after we have done 250,000 in three fights and it doesn't seem right," Hearn said.

"He's keen to do the fight in the U.K. and from Rob's point of view it's an advantage. If it's in September it gives us the ability to go outside and we would have to consider Cardiff [the Principality Stadium], Wembley, the Olympic Stadium, Twickenham and Old Trafford. AJ wants it in London preferably."

don't act like if it were the other way around and wilder turned down the $50mil and then went in hiding for months and popped back up on instagram hanging upside down you all wouldn't talk about him.
