Bingo! And even that is too low for me. Make it $65-75 bucks to maximize the revenue of the fight.
I have to listen to the interview as it is still unclear what the OP is talking about.Comment

I know people who subscribed, did the free month and cancelled. Everything Hearn has put on has been garbage. His November card is garbage as well. Munguia and GB's stable isn't big enough for casuals to subscribe. What DAZN needs is for people to subscribe and stay, instead of just subscribing for a free month on Canelo fights and cancelling right after. DAZN has nothing to offer if there isn't a fight on. A lot of people are going to be only subscribing when there's a big fight and cancelling after till the next one. AS for Canelo, DAZN needs to have over 3 million paying subscribers to match Canelo's purse, don't really see that happening.Comment

Canelo going to DAZN likely helps bring down the price of PPV a bit, but won't necessarily cut it in half.
It's not a question of changing the split with SHO. SHO makes very little from a PPV. It's a question of changing the split with InDemand, DirecTV, Dish, etc.
The PPV providers are freaking out right now, so could Haymon come in and say, give me a 75/25 split in my favor and I'll promise you six big shows a year? Maybe. We'll see.Comment

70 bucks for wilder fury & a garbage under card holds no value at all vs what 10 bucks will bring you in 3-4 full cards on daznComment

Pretty much this ^^^, I couldn't care less about PPV's i stop paying for them after Prince naseem hamed stopped fighting. I support boxing but for anyone to be paying $70 per fight is ridiculous. The whole concept need to die a slow death, i doubt it would prevent fights from happening, it might actually help make certain fights come true.Comment

Funny that you say that, I stopped paying for PPV after Hamed as well. Piracy is just too easy now.Pretty much this ^^^, I couldn't care less about PPV's i stop paying for them after Prince naseem hamed stopped fighting. But piracy isn't worth it to most people if you're organizing a big fight party. Which is why the price of PPV went from $50 to $100 in such a short span of time. For those pirating, the price is irrelevant and for those putting a fight party together, the difference between 50 and 100 really doesn't matter.
So then what it comes down to is, is the fight big enough to justify a party? And that's why you've seen so few US PPVs. Yes, the price went up, but the number of PPVs went way down. Instead of 10 $60 PPVs, now you have 2 $90 PPVs.Comment
