Pbc ppv strategy revealed by dibella

On Chris mannix podcast Lou dibella talks about ppv and how it will change in the future! Lou said that haymon will leverage dazn and his fighters to no longer have to split the price 50 50 with showtime or fox!!! Dibella stated that if this is the case ppvs would cost less and fighters would make more money.....

On the very same day as this podcast went out Espinoza posted this on twitter

"Self-appointed "experts" opining about the U.S. PPV market when they have never been meaningfully involved in a single U.S. PPV event..."

I ain’t ain’t paying $70 bucks for Wilder/Fury or Pacquiao/Broner neither fight really interest me that much. However, Spence/Garcia I will be booking my room to whichever city it will be on as soon as is announced.

We will see. So far we have Canelo with a set amount of fights, but only one opponent (who is a nobody)

If every one of Canelo’s fights are garbage opponents because they can only afford to pay him...it won’t look good.

And no, not hating. I have DAZN

What I'm trying to say is those fights might be half that price and closer to the price people pay to watch ufc ppv

Why wait? Book a flexible rate where you can cancel within a few days of stay without any risk? Fight would make most sense in LA, Vegas or a city in Texas, So it probably ends up in Florida.

I hope these PPV's flop so that the format will die forever. PPV has been awful for boxing and for the fans.
