Fury was getting outboxed by Steve Cunningham

stop with this fury is this atg slick boxer who can't be touched BS.

I've watched the Steve Cunningham fight and Fury went into that fight trying to box with Steve. Cunningham was outboxing him, making FUry miss, and countering him.

It was until about round 3-4 that Fury realized he was losing the boxing match and then literally came forward with two hands up like a tank and used the weight advantage.

Fury isn't this slick boxer you're making him out to be.

Fury fights off his back foot and he won't be able to to that successfully vs Wilder because Wilder is more athletic, he has faster hands and feet, and he has the power to make Fury not throw punches.

Fury is getting sparked out 100%

Cunningham was an excellent boxer, very fast and elusive. Certainly has way more boxing skill than that bum Deontay Wilder.

I Agree and you are absolutely right. Fury's strategy for this fight is to simply avoid getting hit and running out the clock; Just as he did in the Klitschko fight. His plan is to try to take Wilder's title away by playing a game of keep away and not engaging.

However, it won't matter though, because once Deontay closes that gap and starts touching Fury; Watch how as he had done previously in the Steve Cunningham fight, resort to dirty roughhousing tactics, like leaning his weight on him by holding and wrestling.

I’m going to have to watch that fight again. Only thing I really remember (other than the KD) is being upset with Fury’s KO of Cunningham, feeling it wasn’t legal.

Cunningham was standing right in the center of the ring and slippin and countering Fury. Fury then decided to go full tank mode in round 3 or 4 (i forget)...literally...like he put up his two hands to his face and walked foward like a tank.

Cunningham was 25-5 and 1-3 in his last four fights...just coming off losses to Adamaek and back to back losses to Yoan Hernandez (all at Cruiserweight, mind you.)

Fury is beat in the footspeed and hand speed department. he's even SLOWER now after the layoff. he's getting sparked out.

Fury still has 40+ pounds on Wilder. If he gets in any trouble he can just tackle him.

Ok but what does this have to do with Fury vs Wilder? Do you think Wilder is anywhere near the level of Cunningham technically?

Fury effectively confirmed that he underestimated him and it turned out to be his toughest fight. He clearly out-boxed Klitchko who is another level to Cunningham.

The most pathetic thing I remember from the Cunningham fight was when Fury held his forearm over Cunningham's eyes and delivered a big punch that Cunningham couldn't see that caused the KO.

Fury's immitation of Ali, trying to shuffle his feet and jab like Ali is hilarious. A big oaf looking awkward as heck. Slick boxer? lmao If he tries the rope a dope immitation vs Wilder he will be KO'd for sure.
