Nelson has never been a great pundit but he's gotten much worse lately. He seems to have taken it upon himself or been told to play devil's advocate before every single fight now. I remember seeing an interview with him talking about his own career and he was actually quite thoughtful and interesting

Mostly he just says Bellew sees something no one else does. He claims Bellew is technically better due to being confident.

I've said this for years but I do not believe Nelson watches Boxing or is a fan of Boxing.

I believe he was an athletic guy who went to Brendan Ingles gym and they moulded him into a decent fighter and he made a living off that.

He just says too much insane stuff to actually watch Boxing regularly.

How he has kept a job at Sky for so long I'll never know.

A casual to boxing could probably point out some of the dumb stuff Nelson says.

He even claimed a couple of weeks ago on a Sky broadcast that Bellew should outbox Usyk I mean, saying Bellew can win is ballsy, but to outright say he should win is a joke.
