You have to keep in mind that Rungvisai posted a 1-3-1 record in his first five fights.
Since then his's improved dramatically, and even if you don't care about his weight division, somebody here and in Asia just might.

No way is Usyk yet in the top three yet.
I totally agree that it's a good money fight and a good promotion and it introduces The Cat for UK-fans.
But what I meant he's gotta beat Bellew in convincing fashion because Bellew is a level C-fighter.
Boxingwise there's no questions about this. Somebody told me that Usyk took this fight because there was some personal issues with Bellew?

The logic of your analysis falls down when you consider he is fighting Bellew next week (I have my tickets) and Bellew is a huge draw. There wasn't an arena big enough for it in the North West and crappy time of year for a stadium fight.

Usyk is leading the pack IMO. Wilder-Fury could change that.

If Fury wins, he is candidate for FOTY simply for coming back from where he was.

But if Wilder does, then the case is less strong. AJ has had unification and mandatory against the no. 3. Wilder has clung on against Ortiz and Fury we don't know what state he will be in. Have to say though, I am looking forward to Wilder v Fury.

Both will have a great case depending on how the fight goes.

Well what you guys think after Usyk's win over Bellew? Hardly impressing although i admit that Bellew didn't come to win and he's difficult to fight.
But i was kinda disappointed in the classic "russian" style of his. Like pressing the fight and then take a few steps back right after opponent make a move.
I was also disappointed because Usyk was too hesitant to throw punches and didn't really open up until the 8th.
That said, keep in mind that Bellew was knocked out at 175 by Adonis Stevenson. I mean if you're a top 10-fighter, you really voluntarily should't fight guys like this.
I'll just wait how Loma will deal against a guy who's also been knocked out.

If you're going to list Loma as a fighter of the year candidate for beating Linares, you should list Jarrett Hurd for beating Lara
