I hadn't even considered Prograis. He has had a helluva a year, but Usyk's was still better. I could see rating Prograis as second in FOTY rankings.

Indongo, Velasco, and Flanagan. That is a good year's work.

My god, the writers on this site are starting to hype Wilder up almost as much as his deluded fans. I didn’t think it would happen, but it has.

So, he has one fight so far in 2018 in which he almost got stopped, looked terrible, all against an opponent who’d never previously contested a world title, let alone held one?

Add-in the fact Ortiz’s previous professional victories are pretty thin (albeit he has a decent amateur background), and the fact he’s advanced age-wise, and this victory has gone from what should have been seen as a sure-thing, to something that’s got him at least in the discussion for fighter of the year?

And now the writer is talking like Fury has already been beaten. “If he beats Fury as expected”. “An upset wouldn’t make him fighter of the year but it would be dramatic”.

This is Wilder’s toughest opponent to date, yet y’all been talking like he’s out for an exhibition match and it’s a case of picking the round. This isn’t the only article I’ve seen that’s implied this.

This fight is far from the cake-walk you think it’s gonna be for Wilder. If anyone can expose Wilder’s gigantic, gaping flaws, it’s Fury. Even more so than Joshua. If you can’t see that, or you think Wilder is that obvious of a favourite, you shouldn’t be writing articles about boxing.

I didnt realize Usyk is that ugly. When his mouth is closed a lot of the time he looks normal or average.

But when he smiles, god damn.

          That is one ugly mofo

Usyk is my first choice then Canelo.
You could make a case he lost that first fight and the second fight Honesty wasn't good. I never had GGG ranked that high because he never beaten any one good. I think it should go to Usyk then Loma.

He is ugly as sin, and that's a shame, because with his talent, he could become a huge draw if he was handsome. Oscar became the golden boy and attracted a lot of ladies to the sport thanks partly to his looks

but hey, not everybody can be talented and also beautiful like Lomachenko

                Loma??? Why?

Pedraza is junk. And Linares has been KTFO in round 1 and 2 and by a guy Broner ***ed up...

And Haye - well that was a bit of a joke... Haye's been a playboy for years and I'm amazed some serious boxing fans thought they would get the guy that beat Valuev and smashed Chisora. Won me a good few quid on Bellew in that fight - maybe that's why I got a soft spot for the dude.
