I'm pretty sure that you miss something did you know that Golden Boy wanted Mikey to sign a multi-fight deal in order to face Linares, they pulled the same crap when Mikey wanted to face Miguel Cotto.
After Mikey came out in the media and put them on blast, then Golden Boy changed up their tone and tried to scramble for the fight after Mikey already started negotiations for IBF 140 Title.

mikey was given the fight at 50-50 no strings attached one fight. it was still mandatory. he ducked. he backed out after the lipinets fight came along.

as much as i hate arum, refusing to fight linares and loma is mikeys thing.

I know Garcia, he's from my town but it's getting old with him. A lot of us that know him are tired of him just talking. He could have easily defended his title in December and put pressure on Top Rank to fight Loma next.

Dudes are hatin' on Mikey....I like Mikey, he is a good fighter & has a good head on his shoulders. I don't think he can beat Errol but less see what fights he gets, I'm interested to see.
