He is too risky of a fight for GGG at this stage of his career. Golovkin is looking to cash out because he knows he has just a few good fights left in his career.

Yes, while it is true that Rob Brant has a belt but he doesn't put any new meat in the seats either because he is an unknown. In addition, he lacks a following.

Therefore, there is not enough money in this fight to go around because he lacks a fanbase. Likewise, he isn't a box office or a pay per view draw anyhow.

What’s your point? Opinions aside, Golovkin was unified middleweight champ and universally recognized as the top dog in the division for multiple years. He’s like 36-37 years old now and he could very easily still have those belts. The Canelo rematch was a great fight. I just rewatched it. I don’t have a problem with the decision but I also would’ve agreed with a draw or a close win for GGG. He list his belts on a razor thin decision to the face of boxing in Las Vegas. I was impressed by how Golovkin but down in the fight and came back when he seemed to be gassing halfway through. Especially considering his age is catching up with him. Part of it is that he is facing the best guys in the world his last few fights, but a knowledgeable fan who has watched his fights over the last 5-6 years can tell that he has slowed down. I first noticed it against Dominic Wade. Short fight but Golovkin just looked like his feet were heavier and moved slower to me. Brook was always gonna be quicker than Golovkin but I still thought that Golovkin looked slower than he had in the past and his age was catching up with him. I’ve seen the same symptoms continue to escalate slightly with each fight, Jacobs, Canelo, and Canelo 2. I thought going into the Canelo rematch that Golovkin could even get stopped(on his feet) just because he was gonna be another year older and he had been showing signs of an aging fighter in his previous fights. So I was all the more impressed by his performance in the rematch in the last half of the fight

I dont think he could beat GGG or Canelo, he seems a small notch below them , Andrade vs Brant would be interesting winner to fight Canelo or maybe GGG.

I think GGG will be stopped soon by someone... but I'd pick that someone to be Lemieux, Jacobs, or maybe Canelo III.... not Brant. He had a good win vs Murata, but it doesn't mean he's all that.

GG got those belts by beating B and C list fighters. Over 40 fights and JACOBS and CANELO are the only A listers on resume.

Tomato cans and cab drivers. That's GG's history.

So GGG lost to the very Best canelo with a razor thin margin. and that too many experts and fans don't agree too.

so now every tom *** and harry thinks they would stop GGG.

Anyways he only has 1 year or max 2 years of boxing remaining. Fight the big fights and retire

                      Canelo and Jacobs s resumes?
                      Who have they beaten?
                      Be objective .
They are all the same ,every fighter has beaten bums and every fighter has beaten good opponents/ opposition.
Everybody’s opinion is different about different fighters
