I don’t have a problem with the decision but I also would’ve agreed with a draw or a close win for GGG. He list his belts on a razor thin decision to the face of boxing in Las Vegas. I was impressed by how Golovkin but down in the fight and came back when he seemed to be gassing halfway through. Especially considering his age is catching up with him. Part of it is that he is facing the best guys in the world his last few fights, but a knowledgeable fan who has watched his fights over the last 5-6 years can tell that he has slowed down. I first noticed it against Dominic Wade. Short fight but Golovkin just looked like his feet were heavier and moved slower to me. Brook was always gonna be quicker than Golovkin but I still thought that Golovkin looked slower than he had in the past and his age was catching up with him. I’ve seen the same symptoms continue to escalate slightly with each fight, Jacobs, Canelo, and Canelo 2. I thought going into the Canelo rematch that Golovkin could even get stopped(on his feet) just because he was gonna be another year older and he had been showing signs of an aging fighter in his previous fights. So I was all the more impressed by his performance in the rematch in the last half of the fight
Respectable points, friend...unfortunately to the Mayweather Fans in Disguise now known as Canelo Band-wagoners, the "Real Mexicans" and the "I'll-Always-Hate-GGG-No-Matter-What" club...they'll just call you a racist hater who DKSAB....it's all good, though...at least they make for an entertaining read every now and then ....

“I believe that my man, Rob, can beat all of those guys. But after his past few hard fights, I believe that Triple-G has shown that he’s lost a step or two,” said Muhammad.

“So if Rob lands a good one on Golovkin’s chin, he can go, too. I believe that with Golovkin, the door is starting to slam on him.”

...ok wait...so did homeboy's coach just "make an excuse" for GGG? ....or can we consider this as him having an honest opinion?....

Yes, while it is true that Rob Brant has a belt but he doesn't put any new meat in the seats either because he is an unknown. In addition, he lacks a following.

Therefore, there is not enough money in this fight to go around because he lacks a fanbase. Likewise, he isn't a box office or a pay per view draw anyhow.
Canelo has the real WBA belt, not Brant.

Serious question - who do you like?

When you look at when/where/who GGG has fought, especially taking into consideration the prime or lack thereof of the guy, and the manner in which GGG won/where the fight happened, he has a great resume. Haters of him look so silly with that argument lol

Beating Quillin in 1 round was a good result...but Jacobs' next best wins are going 12 hard rounds with Dervy and Sulecki...nobody Jacobs has beaten has every beaten anyone good, no joke. But Danny is a good fighter we know that.

It's just funny when people try and legitimately hate on GGG's resume...because by comparison his resume is much better than anyone else at middleweight, save for Canelo (who has a good resume but has more picked guys at the right time, rather than GGG who had taken on all challengers and fought almost all of his opponents in their prime on neutral/away territory, and ended the fights with a KO)

Are you a Charlo fan? Monroe will be by far Charlo's 2nd best opponent dude...Monroe can box. I have a feeling that fight goes 12 rounds and I will be looking for you afterwards either way.

Name 3 A-list fighters (meaning top level, in their prime) that any fighter in history has ever fought? It very rarely happens. Save for Ali and some of the heavyweights in that era, and also SRL, Hagler Hearns and Duran all facing each other.

Taking into account GGG's amateur career (one of the best ever), and then also beating these guys, he deserves much more respect than the haters on here want to give.

Ratings reflect the fighter's level when they fought GGG:
A/B list - Canelo (2), Jacobs, Brook, Murray
B/C list - Lemeuix, Macklin, Stevens, Monroe, Rubio, Geale, Vanes, Rosado, Adama, Ouma, Ishida, Proksa.

That's 16 guys. If you take issue with any of them state why, and I will be happy to let you know why they are/were at that level, or close. For example, Ishida was just coming off of 24 hard rounds with great fighters Paul Williams and Pirog...GGG blasted him out in 3....the more you know :0

                    What about David Lemieux?
**** boxer and a bum but an ex world champ?
                    Daniel Geale?
He held a version of the world title didn’t he?
The thing is ,it is subjective as to who you think is a bum and who isn’t.
Have you looked at Jacobs resume ? Who has he fought ?
                    No one.
                    Traux?
Can’t argue with you about Canelo.
Don’t like the ****er but good fighter .
It's crazy how they stick with the 'resume' line about GGG when his resume is much much better than almost every other top fighter in boxing currently.

Yes, you are absolutely correct. Rob Brant has won the WBA Regular middleweight title over the Japanese fighter Ryota Murata, while Canelo has won the WBA Super championship middleweight title over Gennady Golovkin.
