Gigantic GGG deserved to win both Canelo fights but didn't get the wins because they fought in Canelo loving Vegas on a Goldenboy show. He is as good or better than Canelo and wherever Canelo is rated GGG needs to be rated right with him. But you wouldn't know that because you are an idiot hooray for the USA flag waver who doesn't know a damn thing about the fighting ability of boxers from other countries. Jacobs, Wilder and Joshua probably don't belong in the top 10 but your hated GGG belongs up near the top.

I agree Canelo was a clear winner over Trout and he beat Lara by chasing him all fight and landing the harder punches. I thought GGG beat him both fights with Canelo making the 2nd fight closer.

I can respect that you thought GGG won, but for those people to say Lara and Trout won is straight up ******ed.

This is idiotic logic. Claiming he's a bum division, andthen claiming when he moves up and loses will make him any less of a fighter--- no, that's not how this works. When he moves up, and if he loses in a division where there is no weight limits, that wasn't necessarily because he was a lesser fighter, but simply because he is a smaller man fighting larger opponents.

P4P there is no doubt he is a better boxer than anyone at cruiserweight (derp), and heavyweight.

When did p4p become a list of whose the best bumkiller?
USYK is ruling a weak division. He is unproven vs real talent. He bullies the cruisers since he is bigger than all of them. (nothing wrong with that if he can make weight) but Winning easybelts does not justify top 5 p4p. It's the same crap people gave for having Roman g as p4p #1 when he was beating nobodies at 118. Once Roman fought people his size and similar skill, he started getting destroyed.
Now don't get me wrong. TC has a weak record too but at least he won multiple belts/unified at 140/etc. It's really subjective so I totally understand you're pt too.

For me, USYK could be an easy HW. It's not like floyd or Manny who walk around 150 to fight at 160 or 168 against guys who walk around 180+.
I do agree with you and you are right that usyk fighting Joshua or fury would be a huge size advantage so if he loses due to size its not a knock on usyk unless he get schooled.

wilder is 225 - 228 so maybe that's a fight that would make usyk top 5 imo.

I posted a thread with the combined consensus rankings which used ESPN, TBRB, Ring and BWAA and the combined was 1. Loma 2. Crawford which I think is the overall consensus of most fans. I'll dig it up but I think Canelo was 3 and GGG was 4 which I find too high as neither deserve to be ahead of Inoue and Usyk.

Canelo at 1 wouldn't feel right due to having about 3-4 controversial wins most felt he lost and the fact the people who put him there think GGG is an awful fighter not worthy of a top 20 or 30 place and the polls reflect most believing GGG to have been 2-0. Golovkin himself was never really a top 3 guy even in his prime so to squeak by controversially after a signature win being a loss to Lara isn't enough IMO.

I can't figure that out myself. GGG didn't deserve to be in the top 10 ... but squeaking 2 controversial decisions over him makes Canelo No1!
