Man, you British guys are too touchy feely. Deontay Wilder wasn't insulting your country. He was only drawing off his own experience as a dark skinned black man who was born, raised and living in America. So, it's well known by now that Deontay Wilder is not a smart man.
In fact, most people would say he's a downright idiot.
And now, he's claiming he's not well liked in the UK because he's a 'dark skinned' black man.
what the
am I reading..
I can't even..
- Nigel Benn
- Frank Bruno
- Dillian Whyte
- Anthony Joshua
- Mike Tyson
- Holyfield
- Muhammad Ali
Are the most popular fighters ever! in the UK. And you know who's one of the most hated? that's right, Tyson Fury
Deontay Wilder by own admission got more love from the fans in Belfast than he ever got anywhere in the states, and now he's saying they hate him?
This fool is as dumb as a doorknob and something is wrong upstairs.

Obviously, he has some deep seated insecurities about his color and race because he is an American; Where white privilege is the norm and being non-white you are not considered part of the mainstream society.
Wilder misspoke and his sentiments were misdirected. He didn't mean what he said. Perhaps, it's the hype and pressures of a potential Anthony Joshua fight that made him say what he said. It was done in the heat of the moment.
Lastly, how can Deontay call a country racist that had shown nothing but love the last time he visited there? So what he said was not a direct contradiction or disrespect of the people of the U.K. Whatsoever.
He probably said what he said because he is mentally fatigued and needs rest. That's why he is probably reluctant in discussing these Joshua negotiations.Comment

Or perhaps your post was sarcasm personified, in which case, my apologies, I will add karma if so.Comment

I'm pretty sure we all have. Instead of keeping it real often times we say things what we think others want to hear instead of telling them what we really mean.
I know have done this before in the past as well as yourself too. Deontay Wilder is a human being. Therefore, he is no exception.
I'm positive that Wilder has said things that he really didn't mean but in order to make others feel better he'll tell them what they want to hear. Employees do it every day at work to their employers. They can't tell them what they really mean or they would lose their jobs.Comment

Just copy and paste the rationalisation from the last time he said something utterly ****ing ******. There's probably one from this one floating about somewhere:
"I want a body on my record. I want one. I want one, I really do. That's the 'Bronze Bomber,' he wants one."
Or blame it on Bronze Bomber, that's another possibility.Comment

Lol .. that's crazy but true!
There will be more people in the UK who hate Fury because of his race/ethnicity than Wilder!Comment
